It has ample space and a great color and quite a few large zipper pockets. It does have a strong smell, not like a new car or a leather coat--smells I find nauseating--but a sweeter leather smell that fills the room for a few days and will eventually leave. I have not used this is in the rain and would not as I don't believe it is waterproof. If you do have a heavy load, cross shoulder bags like these are not the best for your back. This back does not slap or rub too much onto the leg its beside. It does not rub off anything, colors or odors, onto your skin or clothing. It does bunch up in the corner of the flap that the strap pulls up. I agree it is not easy to close, the magnet clasps are small but it does stay closed when you do get it closed. It is not a small bag but it is meant to hold a whole laptop.

EDIT: I wiped the bag down with a damp microfiber cloth. Took care of the residue. I also let it air out for several days. Now the smell is pleasant and mild. This has really grown in me. I think it should be a little bit smaller overall. But I'm really liking this. It's beautiful and everyone asks where I got it and can't believe how in-expensive it was.Just got this and the bag is huge. A little too big for my needs. The strap seems pretty thin and like it might not hold up. The biggest issue I have with this is the smell. It's so bad I'm hanging it outside overnight. Also the whole thing is covered with a sticky film. A residue on the leather. Was excited for this but now not so sure.. Will update to see if smell decreased overnight.

This is a high-quality messenger-style bag with plenty of room for documents and a laptop. There are a couple of zippered pockets inside to help keep things organized. The strap adjusts like a belt, which makes it easy to adjust. My only recommendation is to use a little leather protectant on it as you would a good pair of leather shoes.

Well it was beautiful when I opened the package until I found the button fell apart. It does have the smell but not as strong as the first order from another seller that I ended up returned. However, I think they did apply oil onto the leather like the other seller did. It's quite annoying since I can smell it in my hands after I touch it. Maybe I need a conditioner to dispel this smell. Those are the Cons. The Pros: cool style, cool color, the quality is good except the flaw I pointed out in my picture, and the stitching is good too.

I've had the bag for a couple of weeks now and it came packaged well and looks just beautiful. It's a heavy bag- but not anything you wouldn't expect from something that is leather. The inside is beautifully done and has lots of well-thought out pockets and zippers. The bag does have a smell and I'm usually pretty sensitive, but it's not off-putting and it went away after it was out of the packaging for 24 hrs. The strap is great- and you can adjust easily. It fits my laptop and looks so much nicer than me carrying around my kid's backpack. I actually look like a professional.

It's perfect. I had to air it out a little while and it had oil remnants on it but it is to be expected. The quality is nice and I love the look. It fits my giant psychology book, my big binder with all my notepads and all of my pens, etc.

We purchased it the 1st week of December. The smell of the leather was very strong and unpleasant. We used a good quality leather softener, rubbing it into the leather daily and wiping it with a soft cotton cloth. Unfortunately the bag still smells. It is deep with much room but the odor is too strong so I am not able to use it I have it outside with fabric sheets until it is bearable to use.

Looks very nice. Size and internal arrangement are functional. Overall construction - it seems well made of quality material, especially for the price, but the buckle is positioned so that it rests against the neck and shoulder; shoulder pad can't be centered for balance or comfort.
