I'll be using this as a toggle switch for off road lights. Which screw is power?

This is a factory replacement headlight switch for early Willys and Jeeps. I do not have the pin out for factory replacement pieces.

WIll his work work on 24v?

if it works with 6 and 12 volt I would think as long as the amp load isn't too high it should work.

Are the mounting holes on this threaded?

Yes, I believe so. I installed this a while back but remember it fit and bolted in correct with threads in the mounting holeof the switch to secure in the floor plate of my 1936 project.

Why did it fall apart before i even installed it?

The only reason I can think of why it came apart before installation is faulty manufacturing. Send it back with an explanation that it fell apart before installation and request a replacement.
