Q: Just tried to install it but the connection must bad because no signal is going through when its hooked up. Are there any suggestions or fixes?

My cable was faulty when I received it, I ended up using an aux cable and an adapter, the pickup works great.

Q: does this pickup work with nylon string guitars? If not, any suggestions? Thanks!

It will work with any stringed instrument you can get it into. Doesn't matter which type. It's a passive pickup, as long as you can generate sound close to it, it will work. Of course the louder and clearer the source is, the better.

Q: Can I use the input jack as a sling point if I decide to drill into my guitar?

Possibly…I didn’t drill mine out I attached it to the sling point
