This purse is exactly what I was looking for! It's the perfect size to carry around necessary items while on our trip to Ireland. There are perfect compartments to hide away your passports and the zipper pouch on the back perfectly fits my iPhone 7 plus in it's case. The leather did not have a strange smell that I saw in other reviews and the color was beautiful. I have a saddle conditioner I'm going to use on it to keep the leather supple, but as is, the leather is not too stiff. The buckle on the front is functioning...it is not a snap, so keep that in mind if you want a purse you can enter quickly. I, however, like the added security....it would be much more difficult for someone to sneak into your purse.

I was one of the skeptics when I purchased this. I have searched and searched for a purse like this. After reading tons of reviews on many different websites, I decided to purchase it. Quite a few reviews talked about the smell, so I was prepared for it. Surprisingly, it's not bad at all. To me, it smells like good, quality leather. Everyone has a different sense of smell, but I can't understand how this could be so offensive to some people where they felt they had to return it.HERE'STHE BOTTOM LINE AND THE TRUTH:•Excellent Quality•Size and specs are accurate•There is no offensive odor•Buckles are of good quality•Color is true to pictureI just put my first coat of Honey Leather Honey on it. Was in Barcelona last year and was intent on finding an authentic Moroccan leather saddle bag. Eyed the perfect ones at a shop right next to the hotel, but when I went back the day before leaving it was closed sadly, and my heart was broken! Couldn't get my mind off them, so I did a search here not expecting much, but was so happy to come across this one and a few others, that I absolutely love, yay...and all are more reasonably priced than in Spain. I love this one so much I ordered another just to have as backup. But with the quality of construction, it appears this one may last forever.

This purse is nice however it smells like rotten cow dung. It physically makes me sick to my stomach. It would also be much better if the front flap had a snap. It's inconvenient and for the price, in my opinion, it shouldn't be stinky or an inconvenience. I had hoped the smell would dissipate but it's not... at all!

This purse is beautiful. And feels very good quality. But I had to return it due to functionality.The opening at the top of the purse is smaller than the overall size (only 6" across so my wallet would not fit inside).There are 3 pockets inside, but because the purse is so rigid, it is almost impossible to fit anything inside the pockets.The front buckle is beautiful, but it is an actual buckle. Not a snap or magnetic. which means you have to stop and buckle, unbuckle your purse every time you want to open it.

I like the bag, the smell was a little noticeable but I took another purchaser's advice and treated the leather with a leather treatment. I used Mink Oil Liquid by Fiebling's, you can get that here at Amazon. It softens, preserves & waterproofs the leather. It has helped to cut down on the slight, noticeable odor the bag does have. But again, my bag DOES NOT have an overpowering smell. I would have given 5 stars BUT, the measurements on the bag are not correct, at least on my bag. In the description for the bag it says 12x10x3 ( W x H x D) my bag measures more like 10 x 10 x 3, that is with the front flap down and buckled. When the flap is extended all the way up it is over 12 inches so I am not sure how they measured this bag, and so I'd say again that the measurements given are a little bit off. Otherwise I like the bag, the style, the leather and the 3 inside compartments! It does seem like a very well-made bag ( so far) and overall I like the look and the structure and the price was right BUT still I am a bit disappointed in the measurements. If it had been much smaller I would have sent it back. If you are on the fence I'd say get it UNLESS you want a bigger bag!

Love it! Better then I expected Nice size, fast shippingI would love to add some info about this purse. The longer I use it the softer it gets and the color has darken it looks so rich. I get lots of compliments. The second picture is how nicely this purse aged it's softer and it darkened in color.

Purse as picture, nice quality leather for the price. Will definitely buy again
