Was the perfect upgrade from the old 63amp 10si alternator in my 1978 K20 pickup.

Superb Alternator
The vehicle I own requires using an AC Delco alternator designed to work with the car's computer. This was a fair price and worked great.

Sent me a mangled box with no packing material. the alternator was scratched up.Good AC Delco part tho

great part at a GREAT price. To elaborate, the dealer wanted $850 to change this part in my mothers car. Being on a fixed income she could not afford the cost. My brother and I decided to do the repair ourselves. I checked the local parts stores and was quotes $170 for a remanufactures part. I found this part on Amazon for just over $100 and it was brand new. It arrive quickly and with the help of a Chiltons manual, we got the job done in about 4 hours. Not too difficult but, somewhat time concuming.

The alternator looks to be of good quality.
The alternator looks to be of good quality but after installing it the alternator is making a very loud humming noise and dropping the voltage to 12 volts.
