Good notebooks
I really like these notebooks. They look nice. I like how the front cover doesn’t fray like the notebooks with cardboard fronts. They’re also sturdy—the hard plastic front and thick cardboard back makes them strong enough to not bend if you’re writing on an unstable surface. The paper is fine. It’s slightly above average as far as notebook paper goes. Pens don’t bleed through very much, if at all. I’ve used a fountain pen on this paper without it bleeding through.I will repurchase these. Given their price, they’re probably my favorite basic notebooks.

Sturdy, but my pens have trouble writing on the paper
These are sturdy notebooks, with a thick plastic cover and thick metal spiral binding (it would take an insane amount of pressure to deform the binding). My only problem is that my pens sometimes have trouble laying down ink on the paper. I'm using Pilot G-2s that write very smoothly on other pieces of paper, but for whatever reason become inconsistent in these notebooks. I'll alternate between the notebook and scrap paper with the same pen, and the pen only ever has trouble in the notebook. Maybe its just the notebooks I got (used 2 so far and both have the issue), but I've had to switch to taking notes in pencil.

Good spiral notebooks
Very strong and good quality. Thick plastic cover and paper holds up well to gel pens. I liked these so much that I bought another three-pack (different colors of course).

The Paper is Awful
I bought these for my semester of college and to be honest, I'm very disappointed. The paper is weird and despite trying several different types of pens, I run into the continuous issue of not being able to write on parts of the paper and it really interferes with note-taking. I have since gone back to the Five-Star notebooks I was using prior. I do not recommend these, I'm sorry.
