Great buy!!
Pros:- Capacity is big enough- I like the strainer as it filters really good- The strainer is easy to clean- Pouring oil from it without the strainer attached is easy. No drippings sliding down the pot. If it happens, I suggest wiping it right away as it may get sticky and perhaps harder to clean later on.Cons:- None so far since I just started using it

Worth buying...
I had two concerns about buying unit. 1) That the strainer would be too coarse and would let too much particulate through, whereby making the oil unusable - which defeats the purpose. 2) That the strainer would be too fine and would clog easily and you wouldn't be able to reasonably pour oil into the can without stopping and letting it drain them pouring more, etc. Both of my concerns were for nothing - the unit works fine. You can pour a pot of grease directly into without stopping AND it strains the smallest particles out of the oil making it usable for longer.

It’s larger than I was expecting
This grease can is much larger than I expected. It’s about the size of a small, 4 cup coffee pot. I wasn’t expecting the tray that it sits on, I guess I didn’t look at the picture closely enough. It appears to be well made and should be easy to clean. The opening is large enough to pour the grease into it without it running down the side and the strainer will make the saved grease ‘cleaner’.

Cheap Metal & Sharp Edge on Strainer
Liked:The sizeThe tight lidNice touch having a tray to rest on and catch dripsDisliked:Edge of strainer tab is very sharp. I almost sliced fingerCheap, light weight metalAlready stained on arrival.Slag used on metal shows through the lid roll (see pic) all around. (black detail)I think this pot will end up rusting, even with careful hand-washing.The strainer sharp edges is a concern for me and others in the house. The price is excessive for something this thinIt is a disappointment and will be returning.

Nice handle, no more slipping
It really does strain all the little bits out. I use bacon "butter" as my dad called it, all the time, fried potatoes, fried okra, and even half and half for pie crust, makes it a very savory crust for pot pies, pumpkin and especially for a mincemeat pie. Great container with a very good handle, no more slippery container. I only have 1 small problem, the lid doesn't click down on the back side, don't know if the strainer part should be removed for storage or not.Added note, I pushed the strained handle down and now the lid fits tight. I'm very happy now.

THIS IS IT! The search is over... Trust me.
GET THIS!!! If you’re in need of a place to store your pan grease, then look no further. It is well made, comes with a handy tray for any drippings (just in case), the top fits very well, and the handle is great for transporting so that it won’t slip out of your hands!!! It’s my big, little blessing, and I am so excited about this functional, attractive buy! This is the one, y’all! I’m telling you... Hahaha!

After studying and seeking stainless options, this seemed to be the best value for the money.
We upgraded the type of cooking oils that we are using and wanted to recapture some of the oil. After studying and seeking stainless options, this seemed to be the best value for the money. It is...

LOVE THIS
I don't fry food often but when I do I don't want to waste the grease!Holiday cooking - rendering bacon for Beef Bourguignon...Mom always had a can for bacon grease and I never have!Last year I melted a plastic trash can pouring hot grease in it trying to hit a small can I placed in it so this year I decided to splurge and treat myself.I LOVE IT! It is well made and works perfectly. I can store on the counter or in the fridge.I am amazed how frequently I use it - a little bacon grease in a pan of vegetables or potatoes - OMG awesome I was wasting all of that before!

All metal and no melting parts
Tried it on the gas stove already, it's just the right size for one person camping. I was after something stainless with a easy to hold mug like handle with none melting parts and could hold a nice packet of noodles, something similar to something I'd seen in a Taiwanese camp-travel TV show for eating and drinking soup straight out of.I prefer the lid handle is removable for easy travel and storage, the strainer will be good for steaming and the non-intrusive spout allows steam to escape without boiling over. The main part of the pan is magnetic; the handles on the pan and strainer isn't. Very sturdy and strong, the strainer handle weld is a little weak, but it isn't a problem.

Loved it!
I bought this for my parents. We're Indian and we love a big container so this was perfect for them! They love that it holds 2 litres and it's all dishwasher safe! You can strain oil and there's a little plate underneath to catch any spills or run overs. I would definitely recommend it! :)

Not as big as it says
It’s does not hold 2l like it says. Could only get 1750ml in without the filter in the top. Having said that if you only want to filter 1.5 litre it’s a really nice design. Filter looks good and having a drip tray to stand it in is excellent. Just wish it was bigger

No more looking where to put oil while it cools
We're used to putting used oil in a jar after it's cooled sufficiently. Now we can empty the deep-fat fryer into it and either leave it in there or return the oil into it's original bottle! Strained and ready for it's next use! Why we've never had one before alludes us!

Fantastic product for storing oil
We like making our own chips but I don’t like leaving the chip pan with lots of oil on the hob. It also takes up a lot of room when cooking other things. It is so easy now to empty the cooled oil into the pot and store the hip pan in the cupboard. Literally takes seconds to do and also strains bits out of the oil. It is well made and looks good stored on the worktop.
