Very good quality socks. For seriously swollen ankles, be careful.
I’ve been buying Medipeds socks in various colors, black, white, beige for about 20 years. I’ve never seen the brand name, Medipeds, on the bottom of the toe. It’s on the same side as the heel so it must be the bottom. This makes me suspect that this may be a Chinese knockoff. They are very good quality socks, no doubt.II think they’re a little tight because generally, Medipeds’ elastic is looser around the ankle and do not leave a compression mark after wearing them all day. These do. It’s not bad enough that I can’t wear them so I did not bother returning them. It is concerning though so if you have seriously swollen ankles and this amount of compression is bad for them, perhaps you should make sure you buy Medipeds with the brand name on top of the toes.

Love these socks!
I do not have diabetes. However, I am 75 and things change. I have bunions on my feet which makes life miserable at times. These socks are lightly supporting the whole foot and ankle without squeezing so much like the therapeutic socks do. Even walking in them barefoot makes my feet happier. Also the mesh-like open knit makes them nice to wear even in the heat of summer.

Medium was not the same, but large was original.
I purchased medium for me and large crew MediPEDS for diabetics for my husbsnd. The large came with MediPEDS printed on the sock and had a non-constricting top. The medium came with a red and blue stripe on the sock, the tops were much tighter that previous mediums, and they were in a plain plastic bag with no MediPEDS label or packaging. It is difficult to find smaller diabetic socks with non-constricting tops. I was counting on MediPEDS but they let me down in the medium size.

Comfortable and reliable
I’ve had four pair of these socks, for probably 10 years (at least), and finally have worn holes in a couple of the heels. I debated darning them, but decided after 10 years, they deserved to be retired, so I looked online to see if this company still existed. I was very happy to see that you had their products available & I bought a new wardrobe of many MediPeds and am totally enjoying them. They’re soft, comfortable and stay up where I put them… you don’t have to be diabetic or have some other kind of medical problem to use these. They’re just very comfortable socks and good quality as demonstrated by the fact that I used my last pairs for 10 years at least . Great quality and great value.

Great Socks!
I buy these for my mother. She has a problem with swelling calves and ankles. These have been the best socks for her. They are not hard to get one, they stay pulled up all day and the elastic is very comfortable. These socks are not tight at all. They allow for her swelling. The socks are also very soft.

Crew Socks
I have been purchasing MediPeds for years and the socks always had MediPeds imprinted on the socks, and packaging always stated MediPeds. These socks did not have the imprint and did not have MediPeds packaging. They are very nice socks and very soft, but the top binding is much too tight and caused swelling. Sorry, but these socks just weren't for me.
