Proform 68110 Air Pump Idler Bracket

I purchased this as a direct fit for a 1993 F150 5.0 with a 8 pulley configuration. Though I noticed the pulley is smaller when compared to the original smog pulley. Though once installed I noticed the displacement of the new smaller pulley is positioned further out. So to accommodate this a Larger belt size K06100 was needed. Which I found odd after reading other customers installation required a smaller belt.

I recently bought this very happy with it after installing it my belt was too long and I had read that you needed to buy a belt that was an inch and a half shorter than the stock Drive pulley belt my parts truck is a 96 F150 with a 300 6 cylinder I took the idler pulley off of the tensioner installed it on my 5.8 in place of idler pulley the belt fits perfect cheaper easier fix

1996 Ford F-150 302Fits perfectly to replace the pollution pump. The bolt holes line up spot on. The pully is a bit smaller than the one on the pump, so you will need a slightly smaller belt. I searched far and wide for the pump itself. Nobody manufactures them anymore, so the only place to get one is a hunk yard, Ebay, or Craigslist. A certified Ford technician even researched it for me and found no leads on any. None of the parts stores carry them. I tried to find a pully like this to bypass the pump, and the only place to get one is online. Amazon has the best price for it too. No, Summit doesn't carry them. I checked. They don't deal in emissions bypass parts.As far as actual usage, I have yet to install it. But as far as appearance and if it will fit, it will definitely fit the engine.

Perfect BRACKET for 1992-1996 F150’s 351w (and probably the 302 as well) for smog pump delete. The pulley it comes with is to small though and you will need “Motorcraft YS323 tension pulley kit” to make it work. Also note this comes with no mounting bolts. You will need to utilize your old bolts or go to the hardware store for some new ones.

We used this in the place of getting another smog pump. It was a direct bolt on with the bolts we took off the smog pump. The original belt actually works, even though we had read many things about getting a different size. Probably the easiest install I've ever done. Definitley high quality part.

Idler works as it should but had to modify it's bit because idler didn't sit perfectly in bracket making my belt alignment off.

This is a simple product and replaces the existing air pump in your application. I used this to replace the air pump on my 93 f150 ford 5.0l engine. Careful calculations showed a change from a k060988 belt to a k060970 belt which is very close to the 2.1 in difference based on belt routing. Actual belt usage confirms the shorter belt length. The pulley is approx. 4 inches in diameter compared to the 5 5/8 of the stock air pump. The pully appears to be fairly similar to other pulleys of plastic construction, meaning no more robust nor delicate compared to other pulleys. I have experienced no issues to date. I would make this choice again.

been using the item about 6 months now , no noises, it seems to be fine. is not causing me any problems. was easy to put on and the factory belt went back on, was a little tight but with a little elbow grease it went on.
