Great looking bag. A little more orange in color that I hoped. I’m sure with time and body oil in touching it, it will age beautifully in a few weeks to what the picture looks like. Took a good 10 minutes to unwrap all the buckles from the shrink wrap. As soon as you get it filled all the pockets and bag itself with trash newspapers from the Washington Post to overflowing so to form the bag pockets and bag itself from it smashed flat condition. All the belts are wrinkled perhaps you need to stretch out the thin leather and wet it with little water and allow to dry to remove the heavy wrinkles. Other than what was mentioned above it looks great. A week later I added three coats of olive oil with my hands and it looks better then the ad photo. NO water just oil and fill the pockets with trash paper to fill it out.

I bought this bag to carry around things at a Renaissance festival and I do like it overall. On the minus side, the inside is very slim and didn't hold as much as I would have liked. Also, the backpack feature really didn't work well at all, it was very tight and rode high on my shoulders making it somewhat uncomfortable. However, it worked great as a shoulder bag and fits in well for Renaissance which is really all I was looking for.

Bought this in June 2018 and held onto it to give to my son to go off to college. Three days into his classes the straps came apart and he said the rest of it is coming apart as well. While this appears to be a very nice and quality piece of leather, it coming apart is disappointing to say the least. I wish I was not beyond the 'return' date or I would order another one, hoping it came a bit more durable. If the company is reviewing these reviews, please contact me if there is a possibility to return this item for either a refund or replacement.

The design of this bag is great. The execution is terrible.The leather is of inconsistent finish. Some of the pieces were not fully tanned. The stench from the bag makes is unusable. I have kept the bag outside in the sun for 3 weeks to try to let it out-gas. It still stinks to much to keep it into the house let alone use it.Very disappointing, if the leather was finished and cured correctly it would have been exactly what I wanted.

Love this bag! Its absolutely gorgeous. It came pretty fast and very well packaged. All of the buckles were individually wrapped for protection. This bag fits my 15.6 inch laptop perfectly and has room for even a bigger one. This bag has lots of storage and three compartments lined with canvas inside of the bag. I love the versatility of this bag. I can wear it as a messenger bag across my shoulder or I can wear as a backpack, which I am currently doing. I have received a ton of compliments on this bag. There is small leather smell when you first receive the bag but it goes away after about a week. I rubbed Tandy's Neatsfoot 100% leather oil into the bag to condition the leather and darken it up, which made the bag look fantastic. The bag was a little lighter in color than what I expected when I received it in the mail kind of a orange color, but the Tandy leather oil resolved that. I would definitely recommend this bag and I might purchase another one for my spouse.

The bag seems sturdy, however I am unsure if it is truly genuine leather....it came with a VERY strong chemical odor, and is MUCH lighter in color.

The backpack is thin and long. It comes with one strap only, so it is easier to carry it as a messenger bag. I'm using it as a backpack, though, but it is not that confortable. It is big enough to carry any laptop, plus a notebook and a couple of books. It is a bit smelly and sticky at first, but it also means it's made with real leather, right? The retro look and the material is worth the price.

Very high quality product. This is a steal at $48. I bought this as my going away to University bag and it certainly adds class that even my leahter briefcase didn't. Leather comes very new and orange but quickly weathers with use. This acts as a briefcase, shoulder bag or backpack without making any adjustments. It has an inside front and back zipper pocket then 2 padded pockets so your laptop can go in front or back. 4 outside buckled pockets.
