Q: Can it be put on top of polyurethane?

Don’t know BUT—- when I used this product on my finished board it never dried, and that was my work shop for three days temp 70 degrees, hate this product

Q: I plan on using this on a wooden stool I have not assembled yet. Would you recommend applying this before I assemble the stool or after it’s put toge?

I would do it after assembly if I was doing it.

Q: Is this real oil based and if so, is this different in California than what can be purchased in other states? ?

I was told about 48 hours. This is to allow the product to air dry completely outside.
