I had read a lot of reviews of similar items and been put off by people saying they had received items that were damaged or faulty in some way, difficult to put together, or unfit for purpose. This Ruboka 4-Shelf Tree Bookshelf popped up in "Suggestions" and I liked the colour as it would hopefully match my other shelves. This Ruboka 4-Shelf Tree Bookshelf was priced a little more than the poor quality alternatives but I had a £10 gift card so put that towards the cost. I waited for delivery (it arrived quickly) but had limited my expectations of what might arrive...Wow! What a positive experience! The Ruboka 4-Shelf Tree Bookshelf came well packaged. All parts are clearly labelled (with little stickers that easily peel off) and correlate exactly to the very clear, step-by-step, fully illustrated instructions. My only grumble is that some of the screws (which you need to use the supplied allen key to secure) are in a tight spot so if you have weaker fingers (like me) you might need someone else to help you tighten them for you. I did manage it, by myself, in the end once I'd got the hang of it.Otherwise, the Ruboka 4-Shelf Tree Bookshelf goes together like a dream. I wish all flat-packed items were like this - the world would be better for it! The labelling system makes it so easy and I got a couple of extra fixings (always helpful if you lose one under the sofa) ;)The end result is a sturdy, good quality item that looks really nice, holds quite a lot of books (I've got about 40 slim and small paperback type books stacked on mine). The measurements quoted are spot on (which I'm glad about because I have placed it on another shelf which had limited clearance to the ceiling). The bottom spaces (not really shelves) are a bit of lost space but ideal for nick-nacks or ornaments (I've got a couple of nice little flameless candles sat in that space and it looks quite good).If I had more space to put one in I would definitely buy more of these. Highly recommended. If, like me, you're here because you'd read the poor reviews of the cheaper varieties, don't waste your time - buy one of these! :)Daft, isn't it, when you feel so contented because something is exactly as promised... but that does seem to be becoming a bit of a rarity these days!

I am very happy with the book shelf which sits on my desk nicely now. The size, quality and colour, all great. Easy to built.

Really like this book stand. Very contemporary looking but doesn’t take up much space. Instructions were very clear and all the holes lined up even the last one which is usually the bad one. 😂😂. I would highly recommend.

Bought as a present for my book manic mum, absolutely perfect, high quality item, comes flat pack, a little annoying to get some of the screws in but it looks like it'll hold up for a long time!

Wanted a vintage look to my desk and this looks great! Haven't used it for books though, I've used it to store my games and the base plate is an excellent place to store my charger for my controller.
