Q: Does any one know what the thread count is on these sheets ?

Thread count = heat. Also very misleading, can actually fit several hundred threads (i think 600) anything more than that r split threads. They will take 600 threads & split em 2 say its 1200 thread count or 3x to say 1800 thread count.

Hi,Yes these sheets are very breathable and work well for summer months. Perhaps not using a comforter or only a light blanket in addition to the sheets is best.Thank you

Q: What exactly is a "split" king size?

A regular king set consists of two twin xl (38" x 80") boxsprings and one mattress (76" x 80"). A split king would have two twin xl mattresses... usually much more expensive. There are only a couple of reasons for getting a split king. The most common would be a delivery issue...not being able to fit a king mattress up the stairs. They may also have independent remote controls for sitting up, elevating legs... Also, there are religious reasons for having separate mattresses.

Q: Are these sheets hot during summer?

Not at all!!! My husband and I are both heaters and VERY picky with sheets and sleeping comfortably and cool. These sheets are amazing!!!! Not hot at all! Actually feel cool when you sleep! I plan on ordering more and some for my kids too!!
