Thermometer for wood stove
It works pretty good.

Accurate so far
So far it seems accurate, hopefully it outlasts the "more reviewed" model of a different brand that had the needle detach from the spring. This one was much more affordable, I was worried it wouldn't be accurate but it seems to be pretty close. I had checked it at cooler and higher temperatures and it was within 10 degrees or so each time, just forgot to save photos of those.Photo comparing the thermometer reading to a thermal camera, the blue "dot" in the thermal is the thermometer itself.

Works great!
We want to operate our wood stove at the correct temp together the most heat from the wood. This helps immensely. We get our money’s worth from the purchased wood and save hauling wood inside as often. The gauge is easy to read and accurate.

Inexpensive but accurate.
I’ve been using this to monitor temps on the stovepipe of a wood burning stove. It really helps in keeping the fire burning in a proper temp range clean chimney. It’s rather chintzy, but it works. Material is low grade but it works well and is pretty accurate.Easy enough to use, it’s magnetic so just stick it on the stovepipe and monitor the temps.A bit of advice would be to ensure the thermometer is placed high enough above the stove itself to ensure it doesn’t melt. For me the sweet spot was on the stove pipe about 6-8 inches from the top of the stove.

Bad product - Worst Customer Service!
I just bought this product for my wood stove and find that it doesn’t show the correct temperature. To start with, before I started using it it wasn’t registering any temperature at all. Now it’s showing me a temperature of 140 degrees instead of 170°F which is the actual temperature. The Instructions on the box say not to turn the pointer by myself and it says that when the pointer does not return to 100°F before use to calibrate again. But there are no instructions on how to calibrate it!!!I emailed the company for tech support over a week ago and received no response - not even an acknowledgment that they received my inquiry. As best as I can see, there is no phone number or website.
