Peppermint Oil to Repel Mice and Rats, 4 Pack for Car Engines, Mouse Repellent Keeping Rodents Out of House Garages, Human Pet Dog Plant Safe

Used for a week in a couple of vehicles parked outside. No evidence of rodents noted. Loks like a winner!

Bought to help keep squirrels out of my engine of my car. It helped. Wish I knew this sooner. Only found out after they chewed wires 3 times.

The ad is misleading + should be rewritten because after researching the topic of pepermint oil, it appears that even the scent of the peppermint oil in this product could be extremely toxic to any cat on the same premises. Just a whiff of the peppermint oil could make a cat very sick as their bodies cannot break down the phenols present in peppermint oil. I had great hopes that placing a metal container of this product in each closet would help detour any stray mice from nesting or congregating in enclosed areas such as a closet but now will be returning the peppermint oil mouse deterrent before having used it. I do believe that a container in each closet would've helped detour a stray or occasional mouse.... So far we have only seen one mouse and were able to trap it with one of the small colored plastic traps within a day. Sellers of such items as these should warn potential buyers of the great toxicity that even the fumes from such products as this- present to cats. And a lick or any ingestion by a cat is even more toxic.

The container is very attractive and offers two jeans of use - a peel and stick back that would allow it to be stuck to as surface, or the lattice lid (once the barrier is removed) makes it possible to e.g. have it in your glove compartment without the contents getting other things in there dirty.Since mice trying to nest in places like car air filter compartments, or get into the car in search of the stray ketchup packet is a problem where I live, I LOVE how easy these things are to stash.My one disappointment is that the contents of one container (the size of a smallshoe polish tin) completely evaporates in approx. 30 days. It would be cheaper to spray your engine with a peppermint repellent.

I wish I would’ve gotten these before rodents chewed thru all the wires in my car engine. But I am glad I have them now and they are doing their job keeping rodents away!

Used these in my car truck and hood.Had a mouse making a nest in my air filter a few times trying to get warm I assume along with his nut stash!So far we haven’t had the problem again since placing these in the car.Seem to do the trick!

Tins arrived wrapped in plastic as well as the box. After removing the plastic from the box, it was soaked. Some of the tins must of leaked during shipping. Not sure if they are any good now.
