No you do not wash it out. I apply a small amount of oil to my hair after I wash and dry it.

Glass bottle broke before I even got it

The product itself is amazing but the bottle was already broken when it had been delivered to me. This was very expensive and for it to break in product to be everywhere is unacceptable for the price of this.
