CUB CADET 19A30046100 Xtreme Mulching Kit 42" Deck XT1-LT42E ZT1-42E Lawn Mowers

This kit was much easier to install than expected. I didn’t have to remove the deck as the instructions stated; just put some blocks under the front so I could reach under it and switch out the blades. The plug was also easy.They worked great, just be prepared for them to create a lot of dust and small debris from the leaves. I wash it off every time I use it now. Still waiting to see how they do with the grass in the spring.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect fit for my Cub Cadet ZT1.Install was easy with the use of Jack Stands, saving time & frustration from not having to drop the deck. Was literally a 10 minute job.The cut & mulching is perfect, exactly what I needed. Would Highly Recommend this product.

It's not great. I made it work. I read other reviews and understood this was not great. I didn't find a better option. The blades do not look to be made as good as the original blades. The shoot cover does not fit well. I had to make some adjustments. Im going to keep it, but I would not recommend it if you can find a better option.

Installations instructions could use better pictures.I removed the grass chute as it's just in the way with the mulching cover in place.

The “knob” to hold down the mulch plug is absolute garbage. It stripped out on the first use, and I cannot remove it to reinstall the mulch plug. Very poor quality. Also, the whole “mulch kit” package is overpriced for what it is.

Works great! Easy to change out my mowing blades to the mulcher blades for the leaves.
