In the bottle it does smell like patchouli & rose. When you apply it in the shower it just smells like soap, however, after the shower the patchouli smell stays on the skin. A lot of patchouli products smell fake or perfumey, this smells like actual patchouli. A little goes a long way. 10/10 for my fellow crunchy people.

Arrived in Perfect condition seal intact.One of my VERY FAVORITE Products to use for almost everything including washing my hair & my pets bath time. No smell and easy to use daily. Stay healthier by using this product. cleans super well & does not dry my skin.I use it also as a household cleaner very versatile indeed. Use it in your garden add it to a hand sprayer and add some water. It is expensive but worth it . I have given as a gift recently for a dear friend. ENJOY!

Very thin - this is already diluted - you wouldn't want to dilute it any further - that's the reason for the lost star. But the scent is very lovely on the skin. It does smell a little weird while you're washing with it, but the scent it leaves is heavenly. I feel it's a little too pricey for how thin it was - if it was like most other castile soaps that I've used and a bit thicker in viscosity/strength, it would be a 5 star product. But if you like the scents of both patchouli and rose, this really does shine in this product. I know some folks have said it's hard to smell the rose - it is a bit hard to detect it during washing, but again, where this one shines is the scent it leaves behind, and you can very definitely smell a perfect blend of rose and patchouli once you're done washing. Note: I've only used it for hand washing and as a bodywash, and it's perfect for that even if it's a bit thin.

great soap use it daily

in my professional opinion I've tried all different kinds of this type of soap probably four or five different brands here is the rundown I decided to buy this because the price was decent for a 64 Oz everything included was about $40 every other 64 oz of every other brand I've found now a days and before it was about 60 something dollars the consistency on this brand is perfect you don't need a whole lot to lather up your hair or your body I watched a video a while back talking about this type of soap not this brand is perfect for a dreadlocks you don't need to get dreadlock shampoo and it's perfect because it doesn't get caught with inside the dreadlock you can wash your hair and nothing is stuck in it runs out nicely but this type of shampoo so I said okay I started buying different brands in this brand works perfectly I've tried Dr Bronner's and their sense are heavy and amazing but Dr Bronner's mint is weird because it makes your head tingle I've tried Walmart's knockoff brand of Dr Bronner's which I think is called equate which is very similar to this brand that I got on Amazon the only thing I have to say about this brand I got on Amazon is I wish to sense or heavier as in the smell only have tried the men's but so far very good I tried it out on my clothes and it worked good but not a heavy scent which kind of sucks I like a little bit of scent on my clothes I use this in my dreadlocks and worked perfectly went in and came out easily also I gave my pet a bath and worked good his fur is nice and soft FYI he's a ferret no big deal only thing I have to say about this and other brands is the consistency is just perfect but the scent could be three to four times stronger in my opinion definitely will buy again because I use this type of soap for more than one application it does not matter but I am white and I have dreadlocks but anyway this went in perfectly came out easy you don't need a lot lathers up real nicely and makes your hair soft once it dries definitely give this product a try if you're interested as I mentioned I wish it was 3 to 4 times stronger in the in the scent but otherwise I would say three or four out of five stars

I love patchouli but not everyone is a fan. The patchouli scent isn’t too overpowering. It smells good with the rose and leaves you feeling squeaky clean. I love that it comes in this jug so I don’t have to buy body wash every other week! Also it gets pretty soapy which isn’t the case with other Castile soaps

Love the product. II use it to wash my tile floor with my mop system and it does a great job and it makes the house smell amazing. Almost makes me want to wash the floor more often, almost
