This is Supposed To Help Paint Ceilings?
I am in the process of painting a guest room and wanted to try my hand at spraying the paint rather then rolling. Let me just say this was really a bad decision to use a spray gun for the first time but let’s move on. I purchased the Wagner Spraytech 2361756 Extension tube to aid in painting the ceilings. Hum… there are so many disadvantages of being vertically challenged and here is another shining example. For most people the length of the extension tube would be fine. I had difficulties in supporting the full paint cup (a little over a liter) at the end of the extension tube and difficulty in getting the trigger to work properly. One factor of my trouble was I was inadvertently releasing the clip holding the paint pot on the tube as my short arms just didn’t reach up and around that spot . So I am spraying the ceiling on a latter and the paint pot is coming loose and then goes sailing across the room. I was glad no paint or very little came out during these times as it occurs like 10 times easily but I was determined to master this and on I went. Second issue was the remote like trigger didn’t function well for me so I had to reach beyond the remote trigger that was closer to my shoulder and use the original gun trigger to get paint out the pot and onto the ceiling. Because of this weird position my hand put pressure on the release clip, hence it went flying. I stuck with trying to make this thing work for 3 days (two primer coats and one top coat) and finally stopped using it, and just used the original set up for my Wagner Flexio 5000, I can honestly say the celing looks so much better now and it took less time to paint then with the extension or rolling. I reviewed the manual on paper and online several times to figure out where I was going wrong, I watched many YouTube videos on using the extension tube and sprayer to find very little new information. One thing I can say is no one seems to have this problem and maybe it is my size, I have no idea for the money I spent and the performance I had I do NOT think it is a great value for the money. It was easy to clean, not easy to use, I can not recommend this product.

Awesome advantage
The media could not be loaded. I love it gives me an awesome reach I paint houses for a living I do any size interior or exterior work with this flexio Wagner sprayer and the extension arm just it is amazing I love it! As long as you run water through your gun it doesn't clog up if you use oil-based paint you have to use mineral spirits but that's with any sprayer you have to clean it after you use it every time you know other than that it's super easy to clean

Heavy
Found it difficult to put together and then once I put it together was too heavy to use to paint a ceiling. I'm going to return it.

Did not find this as easy to use as advertised.
I liked the idea of this and it was easy to assemble and clean, but I had a lot of trouble with this. Lots of overspray. But I was a good price get one yto try. Bought for repainting 12 ft ceiling. Ultimately switched back to roller. - Yes, I followed directions perfectly, used filters for the paint. Was front-heavy so my arms got tired.

Glad I Bought It
Perfect companion to my Wagner Flexio 590. Worked really well when painting the ceiling. If you disassemble it, make sure you keep track of the spring, there’s not a retaining clip to keep it in the cap.
