It’s a beast!
Great knife for bigger guys! Built with quality materials. I have had many knives over the years, this one is the best. D2 steel is same steel as my lathe tools.

Wicked Sharp
I Loooove this knife!!!This thing is wicked sharp right out of the package. It's a heavy knife. The flipping mechanism takes some getting used to but i kinda like it.The key is to keep it lightly oiled and stropped before it gets too dull.

Great knife
I love it. Great quality. I’ve purchased a few Ned Foss knives in the past and I’ve been very happy with all of them.

Good ol' Ned Chang...er 'Foss'
Nice knife, great bargain of course. Handle is a little skinny for my taste, suppose that might make it lighter to carry. Also, I would prefer they put the money into the knife instead of the included case, lanyard, and cleaning cloth. I'm no collector, so I like knives that don't upset me if they get damaged or lost. Might be a good choice for a young man (or woman) just starting out, who would be very excited to own their first knife, and maybe do some 'whittling'...

Nice knife
Bought this for $35 in June, 2023. This knife turned out to be the first addition to what has become a collection of “inexpensive” knives. After adding several more to my collection and reviewing them here on Amazon, I realized I had never reviewed this NedFoss knife. I have always carried a little “Old Timer” type pocket knife for cutting/opening things. But, I decided I wanted something larger while walking my dog at night. (You never know.) Anyway, I started watching various people's reviews of Every Day Carry (EDC) knives on YouTube to learn the jargon, understand the different designs and how knives work, how to repair them, and understand what to look for in a good knife. This particular knife struck my fancy, so I bought it. It was so much larger than my little “Old Timer”. I couldn't believe how nice it was. It has an attractive design, and the fit and finish is really good. The blade opens and closes very smoothly. The blade locks up strongly when opened with no wiggle at all. The blade detent is good, and it is properly centered in the handle when closed. It is reasonably sharp. This is a heavy bladed knife, so you have to be firm in your “flipper” action to open it. Maybe include a little wrist action as well. (This knife is NOT spring assisted as some people have indicated.) I can't believe how nice this knife is for the money. Someday I may buy a more expensive knife just to see how it compares to this “inexpensive” one. It may cost three to ten times more, but I can't see how it will be that much better in quality. To me, this knife is a little big and heavy for every day carry, but it looks and feels great. I don't see this as a real work knife... more of a gentleman's knife. I have found several $10-$20 knives that are better suited to be treated as a work knife. This one is too nice for harsh treatment. It is just as good as any of the newer purchases in my collection, and better than some of the more popular name brands. I know “quality control” may miss some issues with a knife, but I have been fortunate thus far. In building my collection, I have only had to return one knife to Amazon due to a quality issue, but its replacement was good. This NedFoss had no issues, and it was a keeper.

Good Steel. Super Sharp. Great service if problems.
Good SUPER sharp, D2 steel blade, and SUPER smooth flipper! (AWESOME for a $35 knife!!)After a few months of my son using it.. the main blade pivot screw became lose and fell out. After complaining to NedFoss.. they send us new screws for the entire knife. Surprisingly good service.. esp from China! Nice job guys!Also.. I'm a big US made Keershaw fan.. and feel in the hand is very important to me., as I tend to avoid cheap Chinese knives. THIS knife though, as well as the NedFoss "The Boss", are both really are exceptional spring assist flippers. SUPER smooth (bearing) flipper.. Great liner-lock lock-up. And yes.. SUPER sharp, from the factory. One of my favorite ECD knives. I now have three different NedFoss flipper models..

Wow. What a Knife
This knife is beautifully designed and manufactured. It has a solid hefty weight, which offers a sense of confidence and reassurance. The seams are tight and smooth and the edges nicely rounded and comfortable. The opening hinge is quick and fluid, but so is the blood that comes out if you slip. Boy, is this thing sharp! The weight actually makes it no less dangerous to play with. I sliced my finger open fairly easily when the blade just lightly fell on me when practicing opening and closing. So be careful!! It's been sitting in its case buried in the cupboard because I'm afraid to handle it now 😂!
