Not sure what rock I was living under, but I only recently learned about mica powder and all its glory. I love using in on some of my crafts, but my favorite is adding it to water in our empty crystal skull vodka bottles for the holidays. First ones I did was valentines day, but St. Patty's day ones turned out awesome. You dont need alot, colors are bright and the shimmer is really cool. Be careful, a tiny bit will float in the air for hours if it gets blown around. My husband bought a devise that will keep the water moving so the power doesnt settle - great addition to this and I would suggest it.

Colors are awesome, however they come in bags not plastic canister. Hard to close bag when the powder is in the creases.

I work with small projects so these will last me a long time. The price is great for how many colors you get. The colors are stunning on clay and I love adding them to my unfinished projects.
