EquiGroomerWaterWisk Pet Squeegee/Bathing/Remove Soap and Water on Long and Short Coated Dogs/Coat Dryer

I was reluctant to buy since the video showed a great Dane short haired dog, which is not the type I groom. This works for Doodles (all types), long haired breeds (Aussies, Collies, Retrievers), and wiry haired types (schnauzers, terriers) and spending 5 minutes using this in the dog cuts my drying time in half or better! All groomers should use these! You can even use the same towel multiple times since the dogs will not be that wet!My salon uses warm air driers (and drying was the longest part of the groom before this!) but this waterwisk has made that much much faster.

I was looking at the original equigroomer brush for my dog and I saw this item for sale as well. Bought it out of curiosity and it works. I use it to lather the shampoo while bathing my dog and also to squeegee excess water to help speed up the drying process. I rinse it out between uses and leave it with the dog shampoo in the shower.

This works so well on all my dog clients at bath time 💜🐾🐾💙

So I saw how this touts for all fur lengths, then saw a glowing review mentioning all fur types in the header.I was skeptical it would help the double coated dogs (in my case German Shepherds), but figured why not give it a go since one of mine likes to go swimming almost daily.It does help squeegie water off... the outer coat. The towel isn't as saturated when I do his initial dry off.After me, he shakes and moves to my husband who towels him again. Then we come inside and he gets the hair dryer, shakes, gets toweled off again and is still damp for a little bit.I was hoping this squeegee would take away my desire to get an actual $$ dog dryer. It unfortunately has not because it can't get the water that's in his undercoat that well unless maybe I push hard and I'm not about to do that, lol.So, thats my experience with it.If you have a single coated dog, I imagine it'd work very well.

I’m 100% certain that this thing works brilliantly for horses; it does not for dogs. I have a 90# pit bull, and he was not a fan of this item, because it hurt him. It’s such a good idea! But the rubber(ish) blade is too stiff to use on creatures with skin more sensitive than a horse’s. Otherwise, as I said, it’s a brilliant idea.

Much easier to use than towels, also allows me to ensure no left over shampoo. I bathe many dogs a day and it’s held up well so far.
