Pros- It's not as expensive as othersCons- There is a reason why. It leaked the first time it rained and ruined the mattress. The poles for the rain fly bent after the first setup. The "locks" are very cheap and can be opened by a finger without the "key", which caused it to open while driving down road. There is no way to tie up the rain fly. The hardware provided to mount is cheap and will need to be replaced. I have spent a month trying to make my purchase usable. You will pay the difference of a higher quality tent trying to make this thing meet the bare minimum requirements to be useful.

Bought this RTT to go on top of my 2002 4Runner. One side bracket came damaged and the right side of the tent has a few pin holes but besides that I’d say it’s a good tent for the price. I wasn’t ready to drop a couple thousand on a RTT I was only going to use for the occasional camping trip so overall I’m happy with my purchase. Installing it was easy just needed a couple people to help lift. Shipping was super fast. Updated to add that all the hardware was included that I needed to install it to my roof rack.
