Is it meant for dogs? Or can it be?

It is a very loud whistle used for officiating soccer. It is definitely going to get everyone’s attention. My understanding of a dog whistle is that they can hear but we can’t. But when you blow this it will get people’s attention.

How much do these weigh?

Hi Steve, I looked up the 2 finger whistle on line, and it weighs 11 grams; I would imagine that this weighs less--and if you want even less remove the ring. No itis no where near 6.5 inches...more like 2 inches

How durable is the Acme 635 whistle? It looks like it would break somebody sat or stepped on it.

Well if stepped on it of course you will break it it’s plastic good sound light whistle I love it I got it for four years I’m very careful wit it.
