Wonderful collection of thoughts by a legendary poet

Very wise, very well written and I got the kindle version and it is easy to use

Love reading these poems when I am out in nature, travelling, or just need to get myself into a contemplative/meditative state. This book keeps me inspired and makes me feel in touch with something beyond words within my own self.

I‘ve bought this book as a gift ...I did a little bit of research before purchasing and after reading various reviews and opinions about Rumi translations by Colman Bark I decided buy this book translated by Maryam Mafi as I felt her translation would be more authentic as she of Iranian heritage and is a native Persian speaker who has studied literature and has been translating Rumi for over 20 years.The cover of the book is very aesthetically pleasing and as I am a novice to the works of Rumi and the recipient will also be reading his works for the first time I’m hoping this is a good introductory book.

Beautiful heart felt poetry that transcends and wraps you in the true beauty of being. Again a gift for a young student who has thoroughly enjoyed being introduced to Rumi and is now sharing with her friends.

This book of poetry is one of the loveliest I have come across. It's language is beautiful and many of the poems are spiritual and touch a spot that most modern verse fails to find.

This collection is an absolute delight. No one illuminates the path towards the unity of the Real with such directness simplicity and authority than Rumi and these translations are a worthy reflection of his insight. So tuck in taste and enjoy
