Pool Ground Cloth protects bottom of pool. It doesnt protect the lawn.

Can I install the pool on chippings

No you will get holes in the bottom of the pool

Would this be okay on a patio?

I think it would be fine, mine was on bark lumpy and not a good idea so on a patio you will be ok
