Bought to replace a like for like pump which refused to prime on my Swift caravan, ordered overnight to a pick up point local to where we were staying. Fitting was largely easy, x4 screws which attach the pump to the caravan, and the quick release fittings for the inlet and outlet are a simple case of unclipping by pulling the blue slide up and pulling the pipe out. Note x2 black plastic pipe fitting which fit into the quick release fitting are supplied with the pump but I didn't use as there was nothing wrong with the old ones. The part that was a little tricky was the pump comes with bare wires so i had to remove the plug from the old pump and terminate to the new one. As we were away I only had few basic tools but was able to pull the wires out of the plug and pry the wires out of the steel bullets that push the wire into the plug by bending the tabs back and then putting the new wire in and bending back with pliers. The pump primed at once once powered up and everything was rosey until I noticed water running out of the bathroom door but this was found to be a push fitting had popped off under the bathroom cabinet. Nothing to do with the pump change really. I would recommend this pump and changing yourself even if you are not at home and are away in your caravan or motor home, all you need is a phillps screw driver and and a pair of pliers if you need to change the plug over (and some glasses that I didn't think I needed, turns out I do, the joys of old age eh!)

Purchased to replace the same unit fitted to my caravan many years ago.Came away and the original decided to pack in so had this delivered to a local locker.Fitted on ten minutes max, used original pipework and fittings but did purchase a filter to go with it.Worked a treat and can’t thank Amazon enough for super quick delivery!!Build quality for a superb, pump is exceptionally quiet!
