This is a great Ashwhaghanda. I feel calmer more peaceful when using it. I sleep better at night. These are regular sized capsules. They don't taste unless you break them open which o wouldn't suggest.

Put on 5 pounds of “stress weight” since January. In addition to eliminating some foods (nuts, low-carb granola) that I tend to overeat, I started using this supplement. I lost two pounds in a month, a nice win at my age (64.) But I stopped using it, due to price + it was hard to judge the effects, which are good but subtle. After 3 weeks without it, I stalled in my weight loss and was not sleeping as well, plus I could see that “cortisol fluff” creeping around my waistline again. Took two of these before bed last night and slept better than I have in weeks. I think this supplement is not for everyone, and not a miracle, but if you are struggling with burnout and adrenal fatigue, it might help. Bonus: I woke up feeling positive today.

Love this formula. It’s really perfect blend of herbs for regulating the neuro-biology of the hpa-axis. Great for both stress and energy and things like PTSD.Great steady grounded energy.

I was experiencing severe burnout symptoms from long term stressors. I was desperate and my usual antidepressants weren’t helping. So I started researching and was reintroduced to adaptogentic herbs. I learned there are herbs that are good specifically for burnout and will nourish my adrenals and calm cortisol levels. I took 2 in the morning and I started to feel the effects within 30 minutes. My mood lifted, my brain was clearer and I found myself up and cleaning my depressing bedroom. I found myself motivated to recommit to my goals. I felt so hopeless at one point and this gave me a huge boost of hope. I’m usually a very passionate, creative and ambitious woman. I look forward to being myself again. I’ve been taking it for a few days now and feel more and more healed as the days go by. I may increase to the full dose if I feel the effectiveness taper. I was down bad for 2 months, no work or anything going but pajamas and bed head lol. I literally had nothing to give. But this is bringing my spark back. Thank you!! 🙏🏽Update 3 months later: Once again this supplement came to the rescue when I was under extreme stress from tragic losses and breakups. My anxiety was so bad that I was experiencing chest pain, hyperventilating, migraines and sleep disruptions. My deep breathing exercises and Sertraline wasn’t helping enough so I popped a couple of these. And it gave me such relief. The chest pain subsided and I had the clarity and energy to engage with the present. I only take them as needed so it’s not a continuous regimen. 3 days to a week seems to be enough to help me get back on my feet.

I have tried a competitor's brand sold at high end natural grocery stores. I wasn't taking as much for sure but it also didn't work as profoundly. HPA Adapt has been life changing. I thank God every day for the naturopath who told me about it. Before this I spent thousands on neurofeedback treatment, thinking my anxiety was all in my brain even though I had been diagnosed years before with Adrenal Fatigue by a functional MD. It's because I had tried this other supplements and they had done nothing. As an example, I am trying to finish up the other supplements (which were the same price as these for half the quantity). So I decided today instead of taking HPA Adapt 2x a day (2 pills each time), I will take these others in the afternoon to use them up (and not buy them again). I'm doing this because I've forgotten over the last week to take my afternoon dose anyway thanks to coronavirus. I just took two of these other supplements and I feel a little but almost nothing. When I take HPA Adapt I feel them almost immediately. They are much stronger. The dosage amount is stronger per the label and I believe their proprietary formulation is much superior. I also take 2 Cortisol Managers at night as well as 1 Lavela during the day per my naturopath. I have severe adrenal fatigue now (years ago it was mild-moderate). I can't thank this company enough for this wonderful product! I'm a customer for life!

The product works! My anxiety levels were through the roof before taking this product and it has helped level me out. The only thing I would be cautious about is that I believe the product has screwed up with my menstrual cycle. I have had a regular period for over 20 years and I am not pregnant. Maca root extract can potentially do that. Do your research on the ingredients before you buy to make sure it works for your body.

This is my 2nd order that I have purchased overall I feel a sense of well being and feel unbothered by things that would usually irritate me the chance are lessen (be consistence though) 2caps in the am & 2cap at midday as the instruction state ITS A GAME CHANGER !! so happy with this product

Immediately after I take only 2 capsules in the morning I’d get a headache. I didnt feel more energized but maybe a little calmer, almost tired. I’d feel better after it started to wear off a bit, but the directions said to take 2-4 twice a day so I took 2 more mid day. Again I’d get a headache. I did not feel more positive or energetic, just a headache and lethargic. Can’t return and I do not recommend this supplement.
