Perfect coffee press and go cup.
Love this travel French press. Always comes with me on holiday. Take it to work to make a fresh coffee or if I want a cup on the go. Easy clean. Also bought them for friends.

Lovely bright red - this is the 2nd Travel Mug set was so impressed by first - worth every £
As with all Bodum items you get a well designed item that looks good but above all functions well and is good to use, clean and lasts. Other half and chum are proper coffee addicts and for travelling, home use or office use this makes a superb mini perc coffee. Other half always overnights with it taking coffee in a clip lock so has good coffee on demand, he also has his early morning mugful of coffee in mug slot in car - so can gulp with perc press lid or when I sneak it for travelling tea - the normal lid, low dribble factor - important in nice well any clothes . Keeps coffee, tea, hot cordial and drinks hot for a good while/drinkable for an hour or so, also keeps cool drinks cool, invaluable too for invalid and duvet days. With double wall can be easily held anywhere and easy grip band helps too. Love it, it washed well by hand ( and rinses out the granules) and dishwasher too, also can use really ground espresso coffee in it. Many comments and oohs and aaarhs. getting one for myself as luxury for gardening and can see how much tea or cordial I have left - without bugs! May not suit thermos addicts.

This is great for fresh coffee on the go.
I am very pleased with this purchase. It's ideal for making fresh tea or coffee on the go, or if you're away from home for any reason. There are a few downsides, but for me, none were totally unexpected. First, it's not the largest travel mug in the world, but it's okay. Second, the plunger doesn't go down quite as far as I would like, so the coffee grinds are a bit loose in the bottom of the mug (but still beneath the plunger) if you're not keen on lots of ground coffee for a strong coffee. Third, the lid isn't leak-proof, so treat the mug with care, and as a result of the lid not being as sealed as some other travel mugs, it's not going to keep the contents as hot over a period of time as some of those other aforementioned travel mugs.Okay, with those niggles out of the way, here is what I do like.If you want to use it more like a normal travel mug, you get a second lid without a plunger, allowing you to carry other liquids without the plunger in place. You get to make coffee with your favourite ground coffee, and as fresh as it would be at home. Plus, there are sometimes places where you might not be able to buy fresh coffee, or, for example, decaffeinated or flavoured coffee. It allows you to make the coffee to your preferred strength as well. If you wish to add milk, you could always put some in first, so long as you can transport it upright to prevent spillage until you're ready to use the mug. Failing that, a second Thermos type container would transport the milk you need easily. If you wish to add extra ground coffee for an extremely strong taste, you could even use it like a French Press at home, and dole out coffee to one or two other people, which can then be watered down to taste. The manufacturer has a proven track record of French Press coffee makers for the home, and the quality with this is pretty good as a result. It's already withstood me dropping it on the floor once while I was sitting down. I don't want to test that out too often though. 😫The plunger top sits flush with the rest of the lid once pushed down, so it is comfortable to use, and should reduce any risk of damage to the plunger. The flip top works well, and gives you a good sized area to sip from.Overall, this is now my favourite coffee maker for outside the home, or for any kind of power outage. It's quick, simple, uses techniques that have been around for years, and so long as you have access to boiled water, you're good to go. Huh, that said, you could probably also use it to make iced coffee or tea in hot weather... that might be something I can try once summer arrives. 🤔

Don't use dishwasher!
I bought this in August and after 9 months of daily (if not more!) use, the inner plastic has cracked slightly and allowed coffee to leak into the vacuum space and get stuck. It has served me very well until now. Kept coffee hot for a good hour or more if left shut with the lid on. It does need to be kept fairly upright and I also found I needed to make sure the lid was properly screwed on before drinking as it sometimes dribbled a bit as the plastic expanded with heat. But as long as you remember to make sure it's tight before drinking, no problems.I think the reason it cracked was a combination of dishwasher, boiling water and a fall from a 4ft high locker. It did get a fair bit of abuse. Going to replace it with a metal one and not put it in the dishwasher to see if it lasts bit longer. All in all, very happy with it! An excellent way of getting proper coffee on the go and definitely worth the money.

Not up to Bodum's usual quality
I usually really like Bodum products, previously bought one of the cheaper cafetiere mugs that does not have a lid but after quite a lot of use it started leaking liquid into the vacuum so I thought I'd spend a little more to replace it with a cup with a lid and which will fit in car cup holder. But I have a couple of gripes with this product:1) rubber seal is a bit flimsy and lets quite a lot of grounds through2) it leaks quite badly through the clip top. I tipped it up expecting maybe a slow drip and had to run for a clothI don't think I'm going to bother to send it back because it is at least "slosh proof", and there isn't really a viable and light alternative that I can find, but I think it's too expensive considering above issues.
