Worked for this diy guy. Got it installed ac now working. Saved crazy $400 tech wanted. Make sure you discharge possible voltage still in device. Check you tube for how to install.

HVAC charged $100 to come out. That’s fair. Said I needed a new capacitor. Ok. $350 for the part installed. This cost, what, $25? Plus about 45 minutes of my time to watch a couple of videos then replace. Easy peasy.

Works as Expected
It was delivered the next day. I had to make a new bracket, but other than that, it was an easy install and worked perfectly. I fixed my own air conditioner for less than $20, and didn't have to have an AC repair guy charge me hundreds of dollars to do the same thing.
