Why did you choose this product over others?:Great gift for my nephew’s birthday! There are a lot of activities and things to do in this little set. My nephew really liked the protective eye wear as it made him feel like a real scientist. Definitely worth the money.

Fantastic experiment kit for the little scientist in your life. The kit comes with most of the things you need including the citric acid and bicarbonate of soda which you usually have to buy separately with these kinds of things which makes it excellent value for money and means you're able to get stuck straight in. Instructions for each experiment are easy to follow and it really does keep the kids entertained for hours. Would recommend!

It's amazing how this company has made a volcano into six or seven different little experiments but they are all the same.If you actually look in the book you will find that there are only five experiments all the others are either variations of this experiment or not an experiment at all.I.e there is a page teaching you how to balance a half empty can of fizzy pop not really an experiment scientific yes but not an experiment.Spend the extra and get a better kit although I have a suspicion that all the science kits like this are going to be the same.

I don't often leave reviews but this thoroughly deserves an outstanding review. I bought this for my 5 and 6yr old expecting it to be a bit naff and be discarded after a few minutes. WELL! They have had hours of fun with it, constantly want to get it out to do more experiments and they have both brought it into school for their show and tells which went down very well in class. Some of the science explanation went a bit over their heads but it wouldn't for a child of 8-12yrs who would get equally good use out of it.I've bought 3 more to have as presents! Why excellent value for money!

I bought this science kit for my 9-year-old daughter’s birthday, and she absolutely loved it! She’s been so excited to try all 33 experiments, especially the volcano eruption her favourite so far. It’s been a brilliant way to make learning fun and hands-on. The instructions are clear, and it kept her busy and curious for hours. A lovely STEM gift that really sparked her interest. Highly recommended!
