Lifelong asthmatic, serious allergies and eczema. I came across these a very long time ago and they are BRILLIANT!I like these because I can take them and I know they are going to work, bang! Therefore I don't need to take 2 antihistamine tablets every day of the year, as I was in my late twenties - almost 20+ years ago. Thought to myself this is not a good long term solution. I can put up with little discomfort, and take these to stop any serious inflammation of airways/skin progressing too far.My 13 year old daughter is allergic to cats. She can go to a friends sleepover and I know that she can take these and everything will be absolutely fine - no runny nose or eyes, no wheezing or skin rashes/ inflammation.PS I have never been drowsy with these, even when participating in a few alcoholic drinks.

Everyone is different. What works for one person may not work for another.But for me - this is the only tablet that works for hayfever and general allergies.I take one first thing in the morning and it does me for the day. I sometimes take a second if it's really bad, but normally I can get away with one.It's great if I take it early to nip things in the bud. If I forget, and allergies kick off... then it's too late and taking one is less effective. So it's best when taking routinely before trouble occurs.Loratadine and all the rest do nothing. This is great. It gives me a life. Thank you.

The only thing that works for me (I'm a grass pollen sufferer).This is a totally different drug to that used in Benadryl one a day.Acrivastine is a third-generation anti-histamine, still under patent, so you wont find any other products that use this.I find it incredibly effective when I take it two times a day (morning and mid-afternoon)The very first time you use it in the hayfever season, it takes a few days to build up in your system and for your swelling / sensitivity to subside. After that you just maintain the routine and should feel pretty normal.I understand it can be quite bad for your stomach lining if taken very long term or in excess. I take probiotic supplements too (home made kefir and yoghurt) which i find helps my hayfever naturally.I also stay completely off alcohol from May to end of July.Nothing else works for me (and yes I have tried the lot!)

They do exactly as described. Enabled me to survive the summer hayfeaver season without feeling totally miserable. My previous tablets seemed to not work on me anymore so was looking for something new/different that might help and these really did. Only comment being when I gave one to a family member it made them feel quite sleepy after taking so may cause drowsiness in some, don’t recall it affecting me in same way. Will definitely buy in next hayfeaver season.

Tried everything I could possibly think of over the years and nothing has provided as much relief as Benadryl. Yes, it's annoying having to pop one every few hours but it acts fast and stopped me from sneezing all night and wanting to scratch my eyes out!It's a tried and test process! Benadryl works best for me but doesn't work for my brother - he swears by fexofenadine which gets rid of his all his symptoms. Ciritizine and loratadine doesn't help either of us!It's worth trialing a few different ones and seeing what works for you.
