Wasn't sure whether I'd bought a gimmick rather than a genuinely useful product. I shouldn't have doubted it. I have been using it on lots of different bottles and jars for a few weeks and it's great. You still have to exert a modest amount of pressure and be able to twist your wrist. But I have gone from avoiding buying anything with a screw top to being able to easily open even some of the most challenging ones. (And my brother found it very handy to loosen some bolts to remove a bed head for me - haha).

These are perfect gadgets. The small bottle opener is excellent for easily opening supermarket bottle water without any stress or strain. It's good quality and great value for money.

Very useful for when your own isn’t strong enough! A variety of sizes to help with most jars and bottles, though not sure as to the efficiency of the gripper pad.

As described certainly works and makes life easier opening tight jar tops.

Iv got arthritis, im my hands and wrist so can't twist lids off bottles, it was hit and miss trying to work out what was the best way for me to use it, but now I wouldn't do without it, very happy

I bought this three years ago. The square sheet I didn’t really find helpful, which surprised me. I used the large red opening aid for different size of caps, from jam jar lids to small bottles. It was very useful, but the grippers are lined with rubber. I expect the rubber was what made it work so well. But now the rubber has perished, it no longer grips but it also stops the utensil being recycled. So I’ll have to throw it away, and won’t be buying another one. I’m fairly sure I’ve seen metal grippers that will work well and will be recyclable should they need to be discarded. Though I think metal ones will last much longer than these plastic ones.

We acquired this set to aid with opening increasingly difficult jars and tins.There are lots of sizes and forms of seal and this appears to work for the types we encounter most often.The tools are light easy to hold and effective, easy to clean and will be an enormous help in opening ‘pop’ bottle screw tops
