Fixed my “chirping” noise coming from the valve cover
First off per several negative reviews speaking of broken bolts “DO NOT” torque the bolts to 70FT/lbs!!! The value is in INCH/POUNDS!! GM specs state 70 inch/lbs. It’s about 6ft/lbs. Those bolts will definitely break. I didn’t have an inch/lb torque wrench so I used a quarter drive ratchet without full leverage on the handle. At that point it’s all about finesse and feel. Initial impression of the valve cover was that it appeared to be quality built and pretty much identical to the OEM part. It fit perfectly and was a simple easy install. I’ve driven about 800 miles since I installed the valve cover. So far it’s been great. “Chirping” noise instantly gone. No oil leaks from the new cover. Seems to have restored some power and improved gas mileage. Problem resolved. Time will tell if the built in valve that failed on the OEM cover is a quality part or not. We’ll see.

So Far So Good! Higly recommended!
It has been on my car for months now, and it’s still holding up perfectly, it’s a great product! This valve cover actually stands out compared to other aluminum ones. The gasket is made of high-quality material, and there haven’t been any leaks or issues so far. Fits perfect too.One important tip: make sure to follow the torque sequence properly. This is where many people go wrong. You’ll notice that the bolts tend to loosen slightly after each pass. Keep repeating the torque sequence until all the bolts are tightened to spec. It takes a bit of patience, but it’s worth it to ensure everything stays secure.

Very good quality product.
Very good quality product. Item is an upgrade for my OEM Valve cover. There was no issues during install and overall I am very pleased. However, there was a delay during shipping. For myself, the delay was not that big of a deal. But for someone with a waiting customer, not good.. was delayed by a whole 1 1/2 days. As stated over all am very happy with product and install. Being an aftermarket upgrade, there are slight differences than the OEM from GM. As to be expected by aftermarket parts. However, the differences were very minor, that don't effect performance.

Torn gasket
The media could not be loaded. 2014 chevy cruze 1.4L turbo. The valve cover itself looked a little different than my old one but fits perfectly fine. The gasket is the exact same as the old one but had a few tear spots that I wasn't comfortable with so I bought a new gasket locally. Bolts fit and torqued fine. Valve cover works only issue was the gasket. I just got unlucky but be sure to check before putting things on.

It's a decent quality part
I installed this part a week ago and have driven well over 100 miles without incident. This part doesn't seem to be any less quality than the OE part I pulled off, and is likely similar in quality to what you would get through Autozone. Many of the issues mentioned in the negative reviews are likely attributable to improper installation since there is a very specific sequence in which the bolts need to be tightened. If this sequence is not followed the cover can crack, or it can warp which will cause it to leak or fail prematurely. Also the torque spec on these bolts is only 71 in-lbs not 71 ft-lbs. If you try to put 71 ft-lbs on thes bolts, they will surely snap long before you get there as that is twelve times the amount of torque you are supposed to put on these bolts. Lastly a small bead of rtv should be applied at the two spots where the timing cover meets the head. This will also cause an oil leak if not done. I will update this review if any issues in the future, but I do not foresee it failing with proper installation.
