10/10 recommend!
I love this thing! Just as good a Makita, if you’re familiar with electric sausage guns, you’ll love this! Great price.

If you buy this, let me save you some time and headache
As an electric caulking gun, this unit is doing very well so far. I am installing a vinyl covering on over 1500 feet of 5' wide boat docks. Here's my beef:The instructions are useless. Just a few pictures, but not the really important ones. You will have to learn which button actually releases the ram, and which buttons do nothing at all.The primary issue I had was two fold., first, the nozzle caps were screwed onto the tube cross-threaded on both units. I had to put the tubes in a bench vise, and use a large wrench to get them unscrewed. Fortunately, the threads were not destroyed in the process. The second issue, which I am still in conversation with their technical support over, is that there is zero documentation or apparent way to utilize what I originally thought was just an end cap for the tube, but in reality is the plunger for the ram when using sausage packs of caulk. Without this knowledge or explanation, I wasted a few sausage packs because they were being punctured by the metal plunger that comes attached to the ram. The caulk I am using is very expensive. I finally drilled a hole in this "end cap" and screwed it onto the ram. this cap fits nothing, except the inner diameter of the tube. Tech support then sent me a picture of the end cap, and said use this for your plunger. No further explanation about how to do that. I assume you would have to pluck it out of the caulk gun every time you changed a sausage pack, unless you do what I did.I will say that their support is better than most, although answers come in 3 day increments. They just need to amplify the instructions, and make note of the end cap/plunger.

Perfect for lazy guys like me
I bought this because I was sick of the arm fatigue I got using manual caulking guns. Since buying this it's all I use when applying sealant on the job. A squeeze of the trigger and you're off to the races! Be careful though because even though it automatically releases pressure I've found it's not quite fast enough. Make sure to tap the release button a few times to guarantee you don't have any leakage

Wow this is fantastic
This cordless tool is amazing. With a manual caulk gun it is difficult to get even flow as you are manually having to reset trigger. I was able to put down a much smoother bead of caulk. At low speed - I was still able to lay the bead on half the time. Another benefit is bead was so smooth there was nearly no clean up. Every tradesman that has to caulk should have this!

A poor design
The media could not be loaded. The plunger disk was too small and subsequently shoved through the sausages and filled the whole cartridge with caulk thus ruining the plunger and the caulking. I have no way to send back anything, but the motor as the cartridge and plunger are completely ruined along with my cartridges.

Great product, varible speed control
Used for Simpson epoxy. Works great. Battery lasts for days and days.

Works great!
It's a neat tool to have when using any tube type caulking. There are 4 different speeds and the battery when fully charged, last at least for 8-10 tubes of caulking as noted.
