500 Piece Biodegradable Non-Woven Nursery Grow Bags Seedling-Raising Bags White (3.54x4.33 in)

Very happy only about 3 percent of the bags ripped open rendering them trash.But the baby roots go straight through the mesh great product..If your not mixing your own soil use miracle grow moisture control I dont like miracle grow either but if your using so little in these fabric pots it wont matter.The reason I say this is because its not possible to top water without disloggong the seeds cause the surface are in so small as they are tall and skinny.If your soil has lots of peat moss or is Dusty you will have to wait 3 days for these things to suck the water up from the bottom. I learned the hard way.Unless you only have a few plants maybe a spray bottle or something butnif your planting hundreds or thousands you gotta match your soil to these or your gonna be standing there wondering how to get water on seeds .In order to get these to fill out properly you gotta put a lot of soil in them alot per say . if you lightly pack your soil like normal and water it will puddle right up and spill out and its so skinny it will take 4 ever to absorb it very frustrating if you sprout your seeds first then plant them... Just keep in mind they are great great great but do buy soil that isn't dusty

They were smaller than what I had anticipated but very sturdy. Roots grow right through the fabric which is good. A little time consuming to fill but that’s okay.

Perfect for getting a jump start on my garden while it’s still too cold to plant. The bag does not biodegrade quickly enough. I suggest splitting it when putting your seedlings in the ground. Even when tilling the garden for the next season, the bags are still in the ground. But they do serve the purpose for which they are intended. I’ve already ordered them twice.

Though I made rookie mistake by not putting in enough soil so they would stand up these little grow bags are so awesome. Great for the money and the fact that i can plant them in the ground or pots when ready helps with keeping my seedlings from getting injured during transplant. I Recommend these 100%.

The pouch, when filled with potting medium, gets as big as a shot glass, that's it. And it's a pain to hold while filling it due to the size. Had to use a piece of PVC pipe as a make shift 'funnel' to keep the mouth of the bag from closing.Also watch for the moisture level of your seedling. The small size of the bag and the 'fabric' it's made of, makes it easy for the potting medium to dry out if not carefully monitored and stored.This is the first time we use these bags so I can't comment on the biodegradability of the bags.

I see several complaints about the size but the size is described accurately. They are not flat bottomed so you do need to back them tightly into a tray. Started several hundred seedling for a give away, would repurchase.

These are not 3" wide. They may be the right height, but they are sown flat at the bottom, so by the time you try to open them and fill them they lose height and end up maybe 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall. I started multiple seeds in solo cups then transplanted to these, and I wish they were double the size. I have no idea how the smaller ones would even be useful at all.
