Balinese Umbrella for Garden & Patio — White Cotton Top — Capiz & Wood Accent Single-tier umbrella are 2.5 meters tall with an open diameter of 1.7 meters. The umbrella tops are hand-stitched white cotton — tightly stretched over bamboo slats and crowned with a durian wood (Durio dulcis) carving finished in a gold or silver motif. The same motif and paint finish is repeated on the umbrella stem. Inside the umbrella the join between the top of the stem and umbrella head is masked with a decorative handwoven cotton web. The durian wood stems are two-piece — connected / locked with a chrome-finished aluminium sleeve. Accent tassles are made from capiz shell — foil and wood beads.

Beautiful decorative garden umbrella
Bought for my wife as a Christmas present a year ago as she'd always wanted one. It's a beautiful umbrella and much admired by family & friends. The detailed decorations (hanging like large earrings) add a luxurious touch. We found putting up the umbrella difficult initially - the strings were tight and we felt we would break it. It got easier but you still have to really push it hard upwards and it's much easier with 2 people doing it (1 to aim and push through the holding pin). We cover it at night and take it down in any wet spells and store away once the summer ends.

Looks great, once it’s up
Looks lovely when it’s up, that’s the only tricky bit. The wooden supports are very stiff, and it’s very difficult to push the umbrella open to get the locking peg in place. That’s the only issue and rather that, than it be very flimsy and easy to break:

Worst purchase
This was perhaps the worst product we have bought on Amazon. Not only was it of so poor quality that it looked like a bunch of children had put it together...perhaps that was the problem. The top and bottom poles did not line up and the decorations around the bottom of the umbrella were mere tin foil. It also took a long time to get a refund. Avoid at all costs!

Lovely Bali Parasol
Gorgeous looking parasol - however a bit difficult to put up - needs two people. Unfortunately the ‘metal’ decorations are quite flimsy (almost like foil) and half of them were folded over leaving a crease mark on them. Personally I find it not worth £165 ☹️

Beautiful garden parasol
I'm in love with this beautiful garden parasol. Its well made and the material is nice and heavy and not flimsy. The only thing is that I struggle to put it up on my own and it's a two person job as you have to get the peg attached into the hole to keep the umbrella up which takes a bit of effort.

I did saw off six inches so it would fit indoors
Looks amazing in the conservatory. Everyone loves it and asks where I got it. Gives shade in the hot sun through the glass. Wouldn't put it outside in this country!

Rubbish
Do not buy. Our parasol arrived today with the parasol material being heavily stained and wrong coloured finial and accessories, very poor quality of product and service.
