You don't have to use water if you don't want to. Water is simply a medium to transfer heat faster and re-hydrate edible items. I suggest you can add some water into the food if the food has been set aside for a long time, which the food would become softer and warm.

Q: I only got 30 mins lunch break Is it safe to leave it unplug inside the car while im working?

It is safe after unplugging because this electric lunch box does not have any battery storage device, it will not bring you any danger.

Q: My husband is a truck driver, will this lunch box work well on his truck?

Our electric food warmer contains a car/truck adapter cord(12v/24v), so it will work on a truck. Just plug in the car or in an outlet and you can keep working or driving and 30-50 minutes later you can smell your lunch is ready. Makes taking healthy meals on the go.

Q: Can I put a smaller glass container in the the container to heat up my food instead of using the metal?

We don't recommend you do that as our stainless steel containers heat food very well and replacing them with glass containers may not achieve the desired heating effect.
