Q: Can these be positioned on the floor of a stage in front of a dancer or does it have to be on the ceiling mounted?

Yes, it can be positioned on the floor because the 2 brackets, and also it still can be mounted on the ceiling by C Clamp

Q: How do you turn on uv? i don't see a uv button on the remote.

For the remote, you can choose the static color mode, and adjust the +/- to choose the uv color, it's a little bit complicated. And we will update the remote next version. Q: Can you dim the SMDs in the middle?

Unfortunately, they are not the exact same on the units I purchased so I don't know. Mine does not have that SMD section. But for a cheap little LED light their great and small enough to fit inside my triangle truss for truss warmers.

Q: will the light remember the last setting (color) if power is turned off (and no dmx board) or will it reset to the default?

Yes, it does. Once you set the color selection and press "Enter" and save it through the panel menu, it will be saved until you change it, even after the power is turned off. The model still your last setting. Hope you are clear now. Best Regards OPPSK
