Easy to use, and well-priced
I needed this to test the LED strips on our TV backlight LED's. One, or more, strips had failed, but I needed to know which ones. This helped me diagnose the failed LED strip, and it saved me a ton of money by not having to buy a whole new TV. This is really easy to use; just plug it into the wall, wait about 5 seconds to fully power up. Then, diagnose whatever you need to. Warning: do NOT touch the probe ends with your hands, while it's turned on. You will get a shock that'll 'wake you up'! Treat this as a live power outlet. Test your components carefully, and make sure to never touch the bare probe ends with your fingers. This saved me a ton of money, and allowed me to figure out the failed LED strip in under 5 minutes. I recommend this 100%.

Very Useful Test Tool - Completely Automated
As an electrical engineer, I’m very familiar with circuit board design and testing. This test box is completely automated. I was a bit skeptical at first being afraid I’d overdrive the LEDs and destroy them. Just hook up the leads across the LED or a series of them and it’ll auto sense them adjusting the voltage and current accordingly. I wound up buying two more for my technicians at work.The English instructions leave a little bit to be desired.

A Real Time-Saver
Simple tool for black screen troubleshooting. LED strips fail often, but diagnosis can be difficult without complete disassembly. This power supply can test the backlight assy and each strip or bank easily. If backlight is bad, then it's time to tear into the set. If not, chances are you'll get off lucky and one of the primary PC boards are bad. Automatically adjusts voltage and current for the load under test - nearly foolproof.

Easy to use.
The LED tester is safe and easy to use. It auto senses the whether you’re testing a single LED or a whole strip of them. When you test, it slowly ramps up the brightness. It also shows how many volts are being drawn. A definite must have if you’re planning on troubleshooting LED TVs.
