You get what you pay for! I bought a less expensive version to replace my original “several year old” frog-log when it wore out. The cheaper one was awful for all the reasons I bought it in the first place, so I returned that one and repurchased this. Well designed and saves the critters from the pool just as advertised.

These are a perfect solution for small wildlife that may wander/fall into your pool. Such a simple, but effective solution that no doubt saves lives. These are made with very sturdy materials & I feel confident they'll last many seasons. We're on our second season with them already & they're showing no signs of fading or wear after sitting in chlorinated water 24/7. I would definitely recommend these!

Held up for 2 seasons in NC. I wish it was a zipper instead of Velcro, I was constantly ending up with the rocks falling out by the end of the first season. Works well to decrease the number of critters in my skimmer.

This is a great product! I can’t tell you how many toads & frogs it’s saved from drowning in my pool! They think they’re just taking a quick dip in the pool & realize they’re trapped. Before, they were jumping in at night & by morning, sadly most didn’t make it. After we got this, most can get out themselves. A few still need rescue, but they just wait on the dock for help.

We have an inground pool and this has saved many little animals as well as making a hang out place for the frogs! Just replaced a frog log of this brand that lasted 10 years! Love the design and durability.

This is the seventh year that We have had this little jewel in our pool near the skimmer. Prior to that we would have 6-8 tree frogs ether drown in the pool or in the skimmer. Since then, zero.

I was finding dead frogs in our pool multiple times a week and after using this, a dead frog is rare. I had to add a patch when we first started using it because it was leaking air, but it’s been holding air ever since!We’ve been using it for about 10 months now and it’s slightly faded, but it’s still working great. In fact, I found a shrew taking refuge on the froglog just this morning!
