Used daily in my home!
I needed to find a vacuum that I could use on a rug that kept getting caught in my plug-in vacuum. I kept thinking like what do those waitresses use without the cord and I finally found this one. This cordless vacuum is so convenient not only can I vacuum my rug, but it’s great for the kitty litter that falls out of the box and any little things that need picking up, with the ease of not having to go find a full vacuum, plug it in and deal with the cords. Easy to clean out and do an amazing job. It holds quite a bit inside as well. I like that the handle is adjustable so you can change the height. Picks up well and fast.

Lightweight & works great!
This works great! Lightweight & easy to use. A vacuum sucks up my lighter weight rugs but this sweeper cleans them with ease. An added bonus is kids enjoy using the sweeper and can help. This sweeper also can handle hardwood floors or tile. You will be amazed at how much this sweeper gets off your floors.

Does a good job, but is not a complete replacement for vacuuming
I read the instructions before assembling it and found it easy to assemble. The handle does come a bit lose over time but a quick twist resecures it. The sweeper does a good job sweeping hard or low knap floors and an Ok job on deeper knap carpet. While it is easy enough to empty I do with the where you empty the dirt pulled off instead of just having a flap that opens. If you have dog or cats you will need to clean the rollers with a wide tooth comb. It does a good surface clean but I find I still need to sweep or vacuum sometimes. Over all it is less work than sweeping or vacuuming and using it I only need to sweep or vacuum about a third as much.

MUST BUY IF YOU HAVE WASHABLE RUGS!
Perfect for my washable rug!! My dyson and my rug were arguing and would not get along. I was constantly feeling annoying little bits of dirt or whatever under my feet when I’d walk across the rug and I HATE THAT. I’m glad I got the rug sweeper. I’m actually amazed at how much of labs hair it has picked up. It’s crazy!! I sound like a cheesy advertisement but yall it really worked and now I can walk across my carpet without losing my mind with my foot feeling a grain of sand or dirt or crumb. I use it daily, it works really well. Simple to put together, no tools required.

Works okay for some stuff
In my case the major contaminate that I want for the sweeper to remove is cat hair. I have a powered upright vacuum that does a great job of doing that but it's a PIA to get out for every time, unroll and roll back the cord, it terrorizes the cats, it's heavy, etc., etc. I need something that's convenient, light, and effective for small jobs. The Bissell seems to be and do all of that except----The cat hair mostly sticks to the roller and does not end up in the collection bins to be more or less conveniently emptied. I have to laboriously pick it by hand from the rollers. And then, wash my hands.I had a push type unpowered carpet sweeper about 20 years ago and eventually just flat wore it out. I don't remember having this problem.Had a semi-major spill of bagged hard cat food and the Bissell did fine on that.

Old School!
Works great. It does not get into corners very well but I did expect that. It does pick up dog and cat hair very nicely. I have used it on wood floors, tile floors and low pile carpet. I can sweep through the house as needed each day and I don't have to drag out a noisy vacuum cleaner. It is light and easy to handle.

Great value, great job & great customer service!!
So I am a review junkie. I read reviews of 1-5 stars on every product before I order something. After reading the reviews for this I was prepared for some possible handle issues, hair getting caught in the roller, etc. I read other people's fails and knew to be easy with it or it'll unthread itself (handle wise) and that it can break if I use it with too much gusto. Knowing this, I threaded it super easily. I gently placed the poles together and twisted slow, paying attention to wether or not it was going on evenly or cross threading, etc. It was super easy, until I got to the top pole. It wouldn't go on. I checked and the inner threads of the top pole had a lip running through them vertically, making it impossible to attach. I attached a picture for reference. Then the handle wouldn't screw on like the instructions say to do, it just pushes on and comes right back off. I looked inside and the only 'threads' are vertical? So it wouldn't attach. I used the short handle and gave the contraption a whirl, might as well test the base out before I call customer service right? And it was a dream. Sure I had to go over each spot like 3 times each, but I do that anyways with a vacuum because I have a Great Pyrenees doggie that leaves miniature Pyrenees fluff balls all over the floor. It picked up all of his hair, the tiny bits of paper my cats shredded and some plastic that my kitten stole from my counter. Of course, the roller was covered in dog hair, all of my vacuum rollers get covered with dog hair. Comes with the territory. When they invent a vacuum roller that doesn't hold dog hair for ransom I'll be the first in line. It has 2 dust bin drawers, hold it open and dump it out. I had to use my fingers to pull the hair out but that's fine too, I have to do that with a bag free vacuum to get hair off the filter and whatnot. This thing is fantabulous, sure I had to get my hands dirty but i enjoy washing my hands so that's fine. I didn't have to fight with the hair on the carpet or flip over my current vacuum, a 2 million pound Kirby, to clean out that roller brush so I saved some time and energy and my floor could pass for clean, so heck yes!! I can't complain. I called the Bissell customer service line through the link on Amazon, and explained the issues with the handle and top pole, she talked and did some troubleshooting with me & is now sending me a new pole and handle for my sweeper. Even with the defects I give this 5 stars for it's effectiveness, ease of use, and customer service solving my problem. Don't buy this if you expect to breeze through with 1 roll and it to clean itself for you. This is great for anyone needing a quick fix for pet hair, tiny bits of rubbish and not having to haul out the heavy machinery.
