This is actually eight puzzles in one - you can either make just the eight as single puzzles or you can assemble the one giant puzzle. Personally, I am going to assemble the eight - each individually and then use my dining room table to put the eight together for one finished, giant puzzle. The puzzle itself is of excellent quality, nice thick pieces, no puzzle dust and each of the eight puzzles are bagged separately so you can do it one at a time. The printing is clear with good colors, and the resulting puzzle is going to be beautiful - I can tell just by looking at the box and poster. While this puzzle is challenging - much of challenge comes from the sheer size. If you have successfully done 1,000 piece puzzles before than this should be about as challenging as one of those - only six times over! As far as the value goes - if you do the math you will find out that each of the puzzles is $13.33 - a good price for a 1000 piece puzzle and these are actually six puzzles at 1,500 pieces each. Definitely a good buy!My only quarrel (and it's a small one) with the puzzle makers is that they labeled the six puzzles on the back with letters but only labeled each individual puzzle with one letter. (First puzzle is A, second puzzle is B and so on.) It would be easier if each segment of the puzzle were labeled with more than one letter. (First puzzle is A, B, C, D, second puzzle is E, F, G, H, and so on.) With four letters per baby puzzle you could get through all six puzzles and still have two letters left over! This one change would make putting the individual puzzles together as well as the whole big one. Oh well, I guess we can't have everything!

This is a very cool puzzle. I like the picture and of course the size! It can be done in six different steps, each one is a nice pic in itself. Then two or three sides of the individual puzzles can be locked in place for the overall big picture. Great concept. The pieces are a bit smaller than "normal" puzzle pieces but they are sturdy. I didn't get any indication that they felt cheap. The one minor gripe I would have is the six individual puzzles just come in plastic bags. It would be nice to have them separated in a more formal display, like their own box. But anyway I'm glad to have it.

First I want to say it is not the fault of the seller that I am leaving this review. Please do not waste your money on this puzzle. This puzzle comes with 6 smaller puzzles that are supposed to click together to make 1 large puzzle. Unfortunately the puzzle cut was off so that the 6 smaller sections do not fit together to make 1 large puzzle. I spent weeks putting this together only to have missing pieces and 6 small puzzles that don't fit together. So disappointing. They obviously had some form of manufacturing issue with the puzzle. I will try to get a replacement from Trefl as I cannot get a refund from the seller since it took me longer than 30 days to put this together.

I'm really torn on how I feel about this puzzle (set of puzzles).- The box is nice, but I don't like that it's held closed by 4 stickers. One had come loose by the time I received it.- 6 separate bags so each section can be worked independently, but the bag material is so thin and weak.- Puzzle pieces are NOT marked on the back as to which bag they are from. If you get 2 or more bags mixed for some reason, they will remain mixed until you work the whole mess as one puzzle. This is a HUGE oversight.- Too many of the pieces were not cut all the way through. None were so bad that separating them will affect the end result. I did have 6-8 pieces in a corner that were all connected.- I love that each 1500-piece puzzle comes with a complete border. This is an issue if you want to mix all of the bags together and have the true 9000 piece challenge. Most of the border pieces are going to be extra and not used, but you won't know which ones.- I also love that the edge (minus border) of every 1500-piece can be matched to the opposing edge of any other 1500. This allows for a TON of customization of the final product.I'm not a person who displays puzzles, but I also have the Star Wars 9000. I plan of working both of these, then merging that one and this one into one huge 18,000 piece for display.

I got it as a whole family gift for the holiday season; the next time, we will all be together. I opened one of the six bags and checked out; the pieces are well-cut and lock together well. It's like the way it can be done 1/6th at a time, if you're not up to doing the entire thing at once. My family has been into jigsaw puzzles for as long as I can remember, and they will be excited to work on this puzzle with me. I enjoy jigsaw puzzles, but I am not the puzzle master; that is my older sister. After we put it together this holiday season, I will update this review to add what it was like regarding its difficulty level. I am excited about it. It looks challenging, and there are so many little pieces! I may complete the one I opened before the Holidays.All of the bags came intact with letter stickers A through F on them. They are made of cellophane-type material; resealable plastic bags would have been a nice touch. I have some in the kitchen anyway. For reference, it also comes with a picture-poster-type thing with the whole thing and each individual puzzle on it.This puzzle will provide many hours of challenging fun, it is reasonably priced, and I recommend it.
