When my second replacement firestick conked (stopped working) after a very short time I began to wonder if my TV was at fault or maybe the HDMI slot I was using was causing the problem. Unfortunately my firestick could not be slotted into the other two HDMI ports at the back of my TV because of the awkward location, so I sussed there must be an appropriate cable for sale on Amazon, my fave shop, & found this little gem within minutes. I odered the twin pack so I could have a spare.I'm not a very technical female but when the gadget arrived the next day it took me minutes to check it out with my firestick. GREAT NEWS. IT WORKED, & the picture quality as well as internet speed both improved. I am so happy with it; all my worries about having to buy a new TV went out of the window, as well as the shame of having to pester Amazon Customer Services for yet another firestick as my second new one (three altogether) had conked.I DO BELIEVE that one of these amazing little gadgets should be included with every firestick. I'm certain nobody would mind paying the extra & it would save both customer & seller a boat load of problems as well as extra cost of replacement on Amazon's part.I do hope that this review is printed alongside both the extension & the firestick so that problems can be rectified before they happen!A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LITTLE GADGET!

Purchased to facilitate easier access to the HDMI sockets on the side/back of tv’s ( wall mounted tv can be very difficult to access usb and HDMI inputs). Their flexibility makes a difficult task a lot easier.

Modern TV designers simply cannot come up with a coherent plan on where to put those darned HDMI inputs it appears.For normal people (i.e. not us sad tech geeks) HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) connections are the cables you use to connect your Sky box/Virgin media box/Blu-Ray player etc. to your television.Some decide they want them on the side, others on the bottom. All seem to be very closely packed together which can be a royal pain when you have multiple HDMI connections.Some designs require you to have the dexterity of a double jointed gymnast with your hands as no-one appears to have recognised the fact that we mostly plug in those connections when the TV is in place.If this place is a wall mounting then it becomes even more challenging!Step forward a good idea borne out of someone actually thinking about this.In this case that person is at Amazon and he/she recognised this exact challenge when designing the (absolutely excellent) Fire Stick.Yes, every Fire Stick ships with one of these and it makes the job of setting it up even easier.Now that good idea has (like any good idea) been copied shamelessly!These do the same job, giving you a small flexible extension to make those connections much easier.They support 4k/Ultra HD (super sharp picture goodness) signals so no loss in picture quality.Build quality appears fine and to be honest, once in place they are unlikely to be moved very much.A tip on using these.If setting up a new TV for the first time, plug these in before you put it into the final location and you will find plugging in those HDMI leads so much easier!Highly recommended, doubly so at the price!
