Yes, it is very annoying to remove the plastic. Even worse is that that plastic (or a better permanent version) could protect the case from basic wear and tear. I've used the case once as a carryon and it already has permanent scratches. Only use as a sculpture to admire. And, my goodness, never check this bag, friends! It will get eaten alive in the process. It's a frivolous and cheap plastic accessory that might only last a few months.

The wheels are so smoooooth. It is so cute - the plastic protective coating was SUPER annoying to get off but, I mean, it was worth it so it doesn't come scratched.

Very cute suitcase, wheels work wonderful. Sadly it doesn’t expand.

I knew it wasn’t expandable but space inside doesn’t allow for much to be packed
