Q: How is this at keeping water cold in comparison to Addidas insulated stainless steel bottles?

Sorry, I don't know how it compares to the Addidas. However, I left my Hydrapeak bottle outside in the sun for eight hours in 84 degree heat to see how it would hold up. The water was still cold with plenty of ice in it.

The straw might not be on completely make sure you really push it up.
