You Can Stop Looking, This is the One You Want!
Very cool! This portable cassette player comes with an SD card and a thumb drive! I recently found some tapes that I had forgotten about. One has a song I wrote and played on the guitar and recorded with a (not so fancy) mixer in the late 80s! The other is a tape that I had recorded off of the radio. I recorded the entire "All Dedication Lunch Hour" on The Coast FM Radio station in Virginia Beach, which includes me calling in and requesting a song to be dedicated to my husband who was out at sea on a US Navy ship. I lost my husband nearly 25 years ago, so this was very special for me to find! I'm so thankful for this KLIM cassette player that allowed me to record all of this onto an SD card, and put the SD card in the thumb drive, insert it into my laptop and load it onto my laptop and send to my sons. There's only one negative thing to say about it, and that is the way it opens. There is no open or eject button. It is very difficult to opens, especially for someone like me who has Parkinson's. So that's the only suggestion I have for the manufactureer. Please fix this issue! I almost didn't give it a 5 stars review because of it, I decided to go ahead and do it anyway because it such an awesome products… minus the opening issue.

So, where to begin with this review... The KLIM K7 Cassette Tape Player + Cassette to MP3 Converter, etc. works as advertised. First off, the tape player comes with headphones, although I haven't tried those because I have a better choice to use. Hopefully, you will have a similar option. Next, after getting my headphones together, I dug through some old cassette tapes from the 1980s and popped one in and pressed play. At first, I forgot to turn the contraption on so I got nothing at first. After I figured that out, I turned it on and pressed play again. Sound! I was reliving those days of my youth! This was great because I have some tapes that are not available on CD or streaming, so this was the first time I heard some of these songs since the 1980s! So, right off the bat I was satisfied. Then, I inserted the MicroSD card (which comes with the player) and recorded some sound from the cassette and that worked well too! So, I was quite satisfied with the purchase. Next test was to buy a patch cord and connect the cassette player to the AUX jack in my car. This also worked! I was listening to cassettes in the car again, just like the 1980s! Again, you may be reading this thinking why is this person so excited about this? Well, its an opportunity to reclaim songs lost to the cassette. I can record it to the MicroSD card, transfer it to a USB drive to use in the car or burn the music to a CD; also, I could put the file on my phone and play it via BlueTooth in the car or with the earbuds/headphones. Now, for the negatives... You cannot record to cassette with this device, only to the MicroSD Card. Also, there is no radio. This is solely a cassette player or cassette player to MP3 device. Knowing this ahead of time, this was not a deal-breaker for me. Just wanted to put that out there for those of you reading reviews ahead of a possible purchase.Overall, I have been quite pleased with this item. You can charge it via a USB cable or it looks like there is a place to install batteries, I haven't bothered with that so far. If you are looking for a Walkman type player, this is a sufficient substitute for the old-school Sony Walkman. If you are on the fence about buying this, make the plunge. Although the price increased from the time I first saw this, I am still satisfied. What are you waiting for? Play yourself a mix-tape... Or, you can make a Mix-Playlist via MP3. I hope this helps someone! Rock On!

Function over form in the best way.
It's definitely not as stylish as other modern cassette players but it makes up for it functionality, it's a really neat product. The SD card function is really cool. Remember Mp3 players? This is an Mp3 player with a cassette function. It's great. Unless you're a massive audiophile then you might have some gripes with the audio quality, but I'm not so I don't. And hey! Remember headphone jacks?! This has a headphone jack! What a time to be alive. I think the only improvement for me would be a belt clip or something.

May need an application to transfer music from memory chip to library.
I was a little disappointed that the songs off my old cassettes were downloaded to a memory chip did not work with my music library. I had to download an app for that.

It’s stated very clearly but just in case, you can’t record to tape!
Really like this item but I’m still not sure what the folder button is for or how to use it.Haven’t tried to upload the SIM card yet so, we’ll see.

Save the music
I love this product. I have listened to a few cassettes now plays better than my home stereo. The headphones are a little weak. Using a different pair of headphones sounds great. Love being able to record old cassettes to an sd card. Much like the old Walkmans in size. Plays pretty loud. I have so many cassettes some I can't find on any othet format. I can save my old music.
