I have purchased 3 different bags like this that we're all called "extra large" but each one got bigger and as far as I can tell, the best one so far. As I said before I play the saxophone and have certain things that I need to perform. This bag carries all of my items, plus my ipad for music. It has room to carry music books, my iPad, a saxophone stand, wireless mic, IEM box, cleaning cloths, batteries to recharge my necessities and extra pockets for my music tools.This bag has all the pockets that I need plus some extra surprises that make it all worth buying. I cannot imagine any other bag that would fit what I need short of a suitcase that would be too bulky to carry around. It is a backpack that is easy to carry and nice looking enough that it suits my style and comfort.

Just got back from a flight and I’d say this is the almost perfect travel bag. It’s comfortable and the straps are cut just right. There’s so many pockets to hide and pack things. It opens just like a suit case to hold clothing and has extra hidden pockets for everything else. The side straps work well to hold the bag closed and tight. I would have given it 5 stars except one of the front D rings is attached backward and missing the leather pull tab and the inside flap pocket for small items and pens is sown in upside down. As soon as you zip the bag closed anything in the pockets will fall out. Still favorite bag for 3 day traveling.

it’s a nice quality bad. fabric is durable and zippers are heavy duty. the touches of leather accent the bag well. perfect for a weekender bag as it’s holds a good amount.

This bag is great! I was looking for a new bag that would work well with the budget airlines (Spirit, Breeze, etc.) and this was perfect. I was able to fit everything I needed for a 4 day trip plus extras to keep me busy on the plane. This was totally worth a purchase!

I'm pleased that the "light green" is actually dark olive, as the photos show.The pack has an aesthetic that suggests ruggedness, but it is lightweight, and there's no structural support. The fabric suggests waxed canvas or oilcloth, but it is not waxed. The zippers do seem like they'll last a while.Would not want to load this with more than 5-10 lbs. It lacks a chest buckle for stability, and does not have any structural elements to help it keep its shape. When I put 15 lbs in it and walk around, it crumples against my back, and pulls against my shoulders. The straps are wide, but soft, so they dig in and don't distribute the weight.The bonded leather stripe along the bottom suggests that the entire pack will have a leather bottom (a nice feature for durability) but it's just decorative.The water resistance is something I question. Water beads up on first contact, but if allowed to soak in, then dry off, the water resistance is gone. It seems like it's been lightly treated with something at the factory. Don't expect this to offer much protection to electronics if walking in the rain. One could wax it, of course.

Great quality, well built, looks good.Only negative for me is got a lot of pockets, but not enough for my clothes. But would be great for someone as a portable office.
