Very happy with this, my first gas barbie
Difficult to know how to decide between gas grills (so many features, no idea whether I wanted them or not), but this was a really good purchase and I'm very happy with it. I had to buy a canister of gas (£75 refillable for £36) and some lava rock (and NO, you can't and mustn't use charcoal on this) which was a slightly unanticipated additional cost, but since then I've used it a LOT (and saved a packet on charcoal and frustration firing up the traditional sort of barbie). The ignition unit is poor quality and the wire broke off right away but I just twisted the wire around to get it working again (get what you pay for I guess!); everything else works nicely. The window in the lid is going to get too dirty to see through pretty quickly, and really can't be cleaned off with a cloth, but hey, who cares!

Value for money BBQ with a big grill area
Once assembled it is a decent thing, with a large sized grill compared to other BBQ's with similar external dimensions. The assembly instructions could be clearer to avoid assembling legs back to front first time, but otherwise quite easy to assemble in about half an hour. Fairly flimsy until it is all bolted up so care must be taken. Cooks well and fairly controllable. not scored a five star due to no handle to push it about on it its wheels. the shelves on the sides are useful when cooking but are only slotted on so they can be quickly and easily removed for cleaning and storage - consequently they cannot be used to hold on to for wheeling it about.

Consider it an inheritance project
The instructions state: "Even if you are not experienced at DIY, assembly should not take more than one hour". I can only assume that whoever wrote the instructions, lives in a different galactic time frame. It may be true if you could single handedly build the Eiffel tower before breakfast or have access to a team of trained NASA engineers. I am by no means old, but was beginning to think that I may have to leave final construction of this BBQ to my grandchildren or possibly great grandchildren. There are many bolts of similar dimensions (good luck), there are also legs that can (as I found), be fitted 180 degrees out and still appear to fit (good luck). Anyway, after spending the better part of my life building this, which involved much swearing and several glasses of Scotch... the resulting BBQ is actually very good.

Cheap but also cheap quality and complicated to assemble
I liked the fact that this was good value but the product is very ‘tinny’ and quite complicated to assemble. I have bought cheaper and better value bbqs from B & Q in the past.

We were cooking sausages
This arrived super fast and was thoroughly pleased with this quick delivery.Great looking item and very easy to use.The building does take a bit of time, slightly tricky, but not super high difficult. Perhaps if two of you do it would be advised. The first time we used it the meat was a bit burned so I reckon give it a few goes before it really works well. Place the meat off the middle part (perhaps this was the mistake) as if you don't the fat drips down and you get too many flames. We were cooking sausages so maybe only apply to fattier meats. Otherwise, we love it and cook outdoors as much as we can. It's like being on holiday!

Frankly if I had my time over again I would buy something more expensive and better. One of the problems of online buying is ...
I guess you get what you pay for, but I think £59 is actually quite expensive for this Grill given its flimsy quality. I am not even sure I would rate it as a bargain around £30. Frankly if I had my time over again I would buy something more expensive and better. One of the problems of online buying is that photos no matter how good cannot provide the "touch and feel" reality of seeing something in the flesh. This thing looks quite good. But it is actually a typical Made In China (presumably) piece of cheap junk. Very thin metal (some dented out of the box)- and just poor quality fit and finish. I doubt it will last more than a season or two and then it will be junked. As I speak we have tried to use it for the first time and it is very reluctant to start. Doubtless the ignitor needs "gaping" properly. Its a bit of a beast to assemble too. Get ready for a few false starts. The 2 side extension tables are so flimsy as to be completely useless - and dont try to use them to drag it around. Daresay it will cook OK, but it will provide very little pleasure as a wise buy.

Great value
Arrived much sooner than indicated. Great little barbecue for the price. Large grilling area but you need to close the lid to maintain the temperature over the whole grill. Took a while to assemble - you need to pay careful attention to the pictures to ensure things are the right way up but otherwise quite straightforward.

Really poor quality
Was damaged on 3 places. Really difficult to put together and fiddly. To send it back would cost me the same cost as the BBQ so got in touch with the manufacturer and they are going to send me the replacement damaged parts.
