Too often do we fail to conduct our own research & almost blindly follow the orders of our doctors (who are knowledgeable, yet not omniscient beings); don't underestimate the power of a ~5 minute Google search on your symptoms in order to acquire more perspective. Looking back on my medical records, it's mind boggling to see that I was prescribed round after round of strong antibiotics to alleviate acne, when all it did was perpetuate the problem (via killing off good & bad bacteria, thus leading to a candida overgrowth and overall imbalance). In closing, I'm glad to see a gradual - if slow - shift away from antibiotics as a panacea, and more of a focus on customized health regimens centered on homeopathic remedies.

This is essential for me when I have a fussy stomach . My first box I got per Dr's orders and used the whole box as he instructed me to do. Then the rest of the boxes that I purchased I have on hand for when I get a fussy stomach and bowels .This is amazing stuff and changed my stomach issues for the better, issues that I have had since I was born lactose intolerant. I had food poisoning 20 years ago and have had a horrible stomach and bowels since then . Since I started using this 4 years ago no more major problems ever. It's expensive I know but it changed my life no more running to the bathroom in a panic! Sorry to be graphic but my stomach and bowels were horrible now they are great! Love this stuff ,doesn't taste bad either just sweet. Be sure after you mix it well in water to follow with a glass of water to make sure it gets down there and always on an empty stomach. Update: 2022 This has not become a hard to find item and there is price gouging everywhere it is sold. It should be no more than $71 which is the price on the Ortho site but now you can only order there through a Dr. Such a shame that instead of wanting to help people everyone is marking up the price and Ortho must not care because they won't let us get it through them. All mighty dollar rules again!!

This product is amazing. My doctor recommended it for a number of reasons. First for Candida, but also for acid reflux. I had gone to an ENT specialist because I was coughing all the time and other test showed there was nothing wrong with my lungs. The ENT prescribed prilosec, but I didn't want to take it, so my other doctor (functional md) said to try this. It really works. Not only did it eliminate sugar cravings and eliminate all of my digestive issues, I am no longer coughing (after 10 years of a persistent cough). It took about 4 days and the cough was gone. I took this for 6 weeks instead of two because I had been on 2 courses of antibiotics and wanted to really improve my gut health. I also lost 15 pounds in 2 months. The only down side to this product is that Amazon prices it so high. I bought it here only because the pharmacy that sells it here is kind of a long drive, but I won't buy it again after today unless the price goes down. I can get the exact same thing at the pharmacy for 38.00.

I had very serious digestive issues due to mercury poisoning and a systemic yeast infection in my body. When I started taking this product I only had 1 of the 4 essential digestive enzymes needed to live basically because it regulates hormones, helps you digest food, etc. This has been the best and most effective probiotic that has helped to restore my bodies natural process and it is easy to carry with you for daily use. Just wish it wasn't so expensive :-(

Wow wow wow! These probiotics have worked wonders for my body and I will continue to get them every once in a while when I feel that I need them. I was given my first dose by a nutritionist who said I needed to clear out my gut so that I could absorb nutrients effectively. I was already taking probiotics but she told me those weren't strong enough, but that I could continue taking them after first taking these for 15 days. I suffered from horrible acne and felt like I was doing everything nutritionally to have a healthy body and skin but apparently the years of counter-active foods, birth control and antibiotics had wreaked havoc on my gut. These probiotics helped clear up my skin like nothing else before did! If you're using it for that purpose just make sure you're eating well balanced diet with plenty of organic, raw fruits and vegetables (which of course is essential to general well being and health for any person).

Did not work for me & the taste was really off. Wish I would have listened to a review that said the same thing. I usually buy this from my naturopathic doctor and never had an issue before. I mix the powder with water and drink it. I believe either the probiotic bacteria was old & dead or this was not the product the seller claims it to be. Very disappointed!
